There was a time when this might have meant something. The problem is that the GOP has completely destroyed its credibility by waving the “Conservative” banner on the campaign trail … and then consistently failing to live up to their promises once they are elected. That’s why the TEA Party came onto the scene in 2010, and that’s why a TV clown like Trump ran roughshod over the establishment GOP field in 2016. It’s also why Trump could easily get 15% of the vote in 2024 if he’s sitting in prison.
Heh, just wait until Trump’s next “mean Tweet”, and all the pussies here will get their panties in a twist about it, and it will REALLY mean the end of Trump!

Your issues are with your expectations, which are your own, and the truth (for which you substitute advocacy) so advocacy material from likes of Forbes, NYT, and WaPo is presented as “truth” by you.
Someone who is really interested in actual TRUTH would post something with information on the last four Presidential Election cycles, and post how much money was raised by each candidate, how much was spent by each candidate, how much was NOT spent by each candidate, and what it was spent on.
For example, in a cursory Internet search, Open Secrets which is widely regarded as accurate, shows that in the last four Presidential Elctions, beginning in 2008 (total for both candidates and I presume their election committees) were:
2008: $3.8 Billion
2012: $3.4 Billion
2016: $2.9 Billion
2020: $6.5 Billion
So, I recall reading that Trump raised $800 million and Biden raised 1.1 Billion on their own. What kind of pledges were made by each candidate, and what was that money spent on? That might provide real context instead of a putrid hit piece, and I found that out in about five minutes.
That is what REAL journalists would do, not the non-journalists you are linking to.
That might actually provided some context, where one could decide if this was a REAL issue, or one contrived by a source that has another agenda rather than providing the TRUTH.
But that isn’t what you are interested in.
My response was to a poster who asked what *I* was doing to secure elections, when I had simply pointed out Trump hasn’t done anything but post things on his website and whine into a microphone.
The onus is Trump, and the $250 million he scammed from people when he promised to use it for election security. I’m not a billionaire nor have I been donated a dime.
If you or anyone else wants to change that, let me know. Till then, you’ll have to answer for Trump.
No. You were stating that Trump (as a private citizen) had the power to secure elections.
Perhaps if he uses that $250 million to get elected, he can do just that. And people GAVE that money to him to get elected.

He has no power to “secure elections”, neither do any of those organizations you mentioned. And he did not specify how he was going to work towards that end and people gave money freely to him.
Stealing elections is not the same as securing elections. You appear to think they are two sides of the same coin, and they are not.
