Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) claimed confidently that he is “not at all” concerned about losing his position as Speaker of the House despite growing opposition among conservative lawmakers regarding the recent debt limit deal reached between him and Joe Biden.
On Sunday, Kevin McCarthy and Joe Biden reached a final agreement on the debt limit to avert a government default.
“Good news,” Biden announced. “The agreement prevents the worst possible crisis, a default, for the first time in our nation’s history,” he said. “Takes the threat of a catastrophic default off the table.”
“This is a good strong bill that a majority of Republicans will vote for. You’re going to have Republicans and Democrats be able to move this to the president,” McCarthy said

Plus the 95% McCarthy says will vote with him have received new commitments for their next insider trading deals, trips to billionaire private islands, corporate campaign contributions and post retirement board seats, paid speaking engagements, and consulting gigs.
But my question is...is this a real limit in growth? Or is it limiting the growth based on current projected growth? So if they plan to increase spending by 5% next year...now they can only go to 6%? If so that is a garbage deal.

Really? If it’s so great, they had months to tell us exactly what it is. They’ve said nothing because it isn’t anything to brag about. If it were truly conservative (good for us), the dems would be putting out details.

McCarthy is a pussy RINO, plain and simple.
Charitability is letting him fall into God’s hands rather than ours. We don’t have His patience, restraint, wisdom or mercy outside of Christ and I don’t want any of that on my account or that of a fellow patriot. I also don’t want not speaking against evil and allowing it to progress on my account. If God is “striking someone with lightening,” I don’t want to be too close by, especially He’s allowing them to do the deed themselves by shooting each other in the back. Their aim sucks with their darkened vision. Distancing...like avoiding Target, or being a target.
