I disagree. What Trump had to deal with during his term and still enacted policies which were historic and benefitted America more than any President in memory cannot be ignored. DeSantis is very good, but not Trump good.
Best thing DeSantis could have done was endorse Trump, finish what he started in the anti-KKKalifornia and got Trump’s endorsement in 28.
What I learned over the years was, in order to correct a radical swing in one direction, you have to go radical in the other direction just to get back to the middle. DeSantis or any Republican aside from Trump would be unable to do that.
