This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The same reason they don't use them anywhere else near the front lines. They would be shot down. Had Russia been able to assert anything close to air superiority, the war would have been over long ago.

Because they would all have been shot down - its what modern Anti-Air batteries do.

As it is, those same bombers cannot approach Ukraine closer then the Caspian Sea or deep inside Belarus and Russia.

There seems to be some confusion on which Patriot system Ukraine received.

I read much earlier that they received to PAC-3 System, but was shot down with assertions that it was the PAC-2 System.

Now I do not know how accurate Wiki is here, but according to their article, the PAC-3 System and specifically the MIM-104F PAC-3 is the only variant that uses the Link 16 Command and, unlike the PAC-2 System, is hit-to-kill which has been seen in images of the missiles shot down by the system.

“PAC-3 ground units can control both M901 PAC-2 launchers and M902/M903 PAC-2/PAC-3 launchers, Patriot batteries employ a mix of PAC-3 hit-to-kill active missiles and PAC-2 GEM-T blast fragmentation warhead semi-active missiles to counter both ballistic missile and aircraft threats ...

The PAC-3 MSE System uses:
“The new M903 Launching System has a modular design capable of holding a total of 4 PAC-3 launching canisters (16 missiles), 12 PAC-3 MSE canisters (in 3 rows of 4), or 4 PAC-2 GEM canisters. It can mix different missiles, such as 6 PAC-3 MSE canisters (in 3 rows of 2) and either two PAC-3 canisters (8 missiles) or two PAC-2 canisters on the same launcher, down to combinations of a single PAC-2 canister, a single PAC-3 canister (4 missiles), 4 PAC-3 MSE canisters (in 2 rows of 2) or 2 PAC-3 MSE canisters in a single row.”

The only peaceful resolution in the Russo-Ukrainian war, and now the 2023 Bilhorod war of Independence, should demand immediate ceasefire in the Bilhorod Peoples Republic (BPR) and withdrawal of all Russian troops from Ukraine and the Bilhorod Peoples Republic (BPR), and immediate negotiations for this neutral country to divide Ukraine and Russia in perpetuity (or until annexed by Ukraine). Any peaceful resolution must also entail the creation of 6 more neutral buffer States, the:

A. Rostov People's Republic (RPR)

B. Voronezh People's Republic(VPR)

C. Kursk People's Republic (KPR)

D. Republic of Krasnodar Krai (ROKK)

E. Circassia People's Republic (CPR)

F. Democratic Republic of Bryansk (DPB)

There is a ton of conflation between the Patriot batteries and the missiles they fire, not to mention the various configurations and updates.

The TLDR version: PAC-3 batteries can include both PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles.

I read somewhere that all of our active systems, somewhere around 50 batteries, are upgraded to at least MIM-104F and would have LINK-16 - in the command center, not the missiles. I believe Ukraine’s batteries came from active battalions, so at least the American one should be reasonably up to date. Not so sure about the German one.

Orthodox Church of Ukraine to switch to Revised Julian calendar, celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25.

The Synod of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine has approved switching to the new Julian calendar from Sept. 1. It means the Church will celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25 instead of Jan. 7.

Other holidays with a fixed date will also be moved while the change will not apply to Easter as its date fluctuates.

Previously, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and Ukrainian Greek Catholics used only the old Julian calendar, also used by the Russian Orthodox Church.

AVDIIVKA AXIS/1445 UTC 24 MAY/ Twenty-eight Russian troops of the 110th Brigade of the RU Army are reported to have surrendered to the UKR 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade near Avdiivka. A Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter was reported downed by UKR air defense.

The HARMs being launched from Ukrainian MiG-29s have a priority list programmed prior to flight.

After the missile is launched, it searches for any radar in the priority list.

Upon detection, the missile flies to that target.

If a higher priority radar is detected, the missile maneuvers to attack the higher priority target.

I don’t see a senecio where Russian federation comes out of this whole. I imagine many of these members have been looking for a way out, and with Russia involved in this fiasco, their forces being withdrawn to feed the meat grinder the natives will get restless

China always looking to expand and with historical claims on federation land may launch their own SMO. China is much closer to these regions and Russia can do little to stop them if Xi decides to pull the trigger.

  (I take that back, they never pick on the Russian side!)
· Never challenge the Russian position at all.
