That’s what Musk is hoping for. That’s his business, he’s trying to drive traffic. Trump should most certainly not do that. Let Desanctimonius have his Twitter whatever this is. More eyes on this trash won’t be beneficial to him. Elon is the one who benefits here. I’m sure he’ll invite Trump to do one too. Much like he invited the Drag queen who just got fired by CNN

Kind of reminds me of how Hillary would invite celebrities to her rallies to try and compete with Trump on crowd size. Same tactic here from Ron.

I think Musk's main aim here is to show he's independent of Trump.  To totally embrace Trump as his favorite would cause him trouble.  The deep state could come after Musk in a big way.

Look past the headlines and see the second-hand effects and long game.

DeSanctimonius may believe Musk is annointing him with holy water: but Musk's praise is a fleeting thing.  Two weeks later, it will not be a factor.  Just as Trump a couple days ago praised Senator Scott for getting in the race (as Musk did as well).

Also consider the publicity angle.  The last few weeks has Trump hammered DeSantis for his drop in the polls.

Now DeSantis earns a surge of support and suddenly the primary feels like a horse race — all of which heightens the publicity that fuels voters to show up for the primary.
