DeSantis abandoned the state of Florida faster than he abandoned Trump. What makes you think he wouldn’t abandon the American people next?
The way some so brazenly re-write history is astonishing. Trump never claimed to be a cultural conservative. We he did do was support certain policy positions that appealed to cultural conservatives, and he pretty much kept his word.
He promised he would appoint conservative judges and he did. That paved the way for the biggest victory in years for cultural conservatives - the reversal of Roe v Wade.
He signed an executive order directing the executive branch to limit its enforcement of the “Johnson Amendment”, which penalizes religious organization for speaking about moral or political issues from a religious perspective.
He banned trans from the military. He’s also been a vocal critic of men in women’s sports.
Trump gave cultural conservatives more victories than any President has in over 50 years. If they choose to abandon him because he’s taken some imaginary lurch left, or because appearances matter more to them than results, then they are foolish.
We have the best governor in America and by 2to 1 we favor Trump over DeSantis and got played REALLy? How ?
He was always in bed with Bush, Romney, etc. He was before Trump came on the scene and he never changed. What you have been witnessing the last 5 years is the performance of a lifetime, scripted and staged by GOPe, with Ron playing the leading role but with a strong supporting cast, particularly the Florida House and Senate.
DeSantis is on our side.
