Ah, I see... like the banks do.

My concern would be how often and how effectively this delivery system would/could be kept clean.

Similar in concept, rather different in execution.

My guess is that if properly designed, the system would maintain a number of “carriers” and every time one went out and back, it would be sent for an automated cleaning cycle before being placed in the ready magazine.

Pretty much all the staff have to do is load the food, close the lid and off it goes.
