We the people have a right to know more national security answers about the life narrative, history, and background of candidates running for President and Commander in Chief, the person who will have access to the most sensitive of information regarding our nation's national security and the person who can waive security clearances for anyone in their administration. Thus we voters should be able to get the national security concern questions answered by all the presidential candidates in a uniform and public way. Requiring all candidates for President to fill out the National Security Questionnaire SF-86 within 30 days of declaring their candidacy should be made mandatory very similar to what they have to now do with the Financial Disclosure Form OGE 278e, which is already mandatory. Candidates should no longer be allowed to evade voters questions key national security questions regarding their life history such as those in Section 10.1 and Section 18 Entry #1 in Form SF-86. The major mainstream media is not asking these questions because imo they want to help the candidates evade answering them for their own politically manipulative reasons. Contact your U.S. Senators and U.S. House Reps and suggest to them they make filing of the National Security Form SF-86 mandatory for all presidential candidates.

Bull excrement. The United States Constitution outlines the qualifications for holding the office of President of the United States, not some National Security questionnaire.

At an absolute minimum, they must be made to prove they meet the Constitutional requirements as set forth by our founders and framers in the Constitution.
And yes, an SF-86 requirement is a great idea!

They would have to significantly decrease the time for processing the eQIP. Right now it takes months to even get the form to the investigators AFTER initial review.

Oh, great … let’s require presidential candidates to complete a form so it can be reviewed by a bunch of sh!tbag bureaucrats. What could go wrong?

If you want to make it mandatory, then put together a constitutional amendment and get it passed.
