This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Russia can’t rebuild its empire without Ukraine.
Russia needs its resources and agricultural wealth, its people, and its geography and coasts.

The Ukrainian military has revealed that a large portion of the Russian occupation administration staff was evacuated from the city of Skadovsk on the night between May 6-7 together with their families.
The Ukrainian counterattack is coming.
BAKHMUT AXIS /1320 UTC 8 MAY/ Facing an impending 9 May ‘deadline’ to capture the city of Bakhmut, RU forces have pressed failed attacks N and S of the urban area. Russian VDV and Motor Rifle troops carried out attacks against the H-32 HWY S & W of Ivanivske.
The problem I see is that Russia still has an imperialist mindset that was not hit by reality.
Germany had an imperialist mindset and WWI’s armistice didn’t convince them - it took taking the war to their lands to make them see the error of their ways.
The same for Imperial Japan - they had to see the horror of war on their doorstep to change.
Russia unfortunately isn’t learning like the UK that their empire is over, they look like they would want to be destroyed to learn other ways.

A week before the election and things are looking pretty up in the air. Neither candidate is really a great choice. Kilicdaroglu will move to admit Sweden to NATO, but I suspect Erdogan will do the same some months after the election. Both of them want to play both sides. Kilicdaroglu seems far more open to re-establishing relations with Iran and Syria. Thanks to Biden's inept foreign policy, there is a major shift happening in the middle east. We could see Turkey joining the Arab League, and distancing themselves from Europe. Within 10 years, the USA could have virtually zero influence in the Arab world, while China and Russia expand and strengthen their ties.
