Did I just read Charlie Brown is being named CJCS?
RLTW
That is the rumor. What say you if true?
I say it’s not on merit.
An air force cast off running the JCS? Another diversity hire for Team Brandon.
He does have the approved skin pigmentation ....
“Brown has also made removing gender and racial disparities from the Air Force a top priority, as the Department of the Air Force has ordered sweeping reviews into the state of those disparities.
Prior to his confirmation as the first ever Black Air Force Chief of Staff, Brown released a video in the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and the ensuing nationwide protests about racial bias. In that video, which generated national headlines, Brown discussed his own challenges while rising through the predominantly-White ranks of the Air Force fighter pilot corps.”
Not looking good.
No doubt the media will paint that narrative.
My first impression of C.Q. Brown had nothing to do with the color of his skin.
My first impression was a forward thinking level headed leader who challenges Airmen and Guardians to assume risk when it is smart to do so.
He is a proven F-16 fighter pilot so he knows and understands what that means.
He also understands that our top 3 pacing challenge priorities are
1st and foremost China
2nd is China
And a close 3rd. China
He published “Accelerate Change or Lose”
It is very important that we quickly dismiss the skin color media frenzy that is certain to make the pundits giddy.
Let them have their 5 mins of giddy then we need to get laser focused on a DoD wide version of his Accelerate Change or Lose publication moving quickly past the skin color crap and get serious about change in risk management not risk aversion.
Let’s get serious about China, China and China and get past the skin color crap.
I believe that it is important to acknowledge history and take the lessons learned from aviators like Jesse Brown (que the trailer from the recent film DEVOTION). Learn the tough lessons make the appropriate adjustment and get back to work defending our Nation and preparing for WAR in needed when a reasonable attempt at deterrence has failed
To hell with these woke a-holes in charge. Our real enemy is our own damn government.
Then stop feeding on the media narratives my FRiend
Out Military will be blessed to have General C.Q. Brown at the helm. The Quicker we get past the giddiness of his skin color and focus on what is really important the better off we will be.
My 2cents worth. The fact that we have to endure the giddiness for 5 minutes by the media who propagates that crap the better.
My initial thoughts are positive let’s give him a chance to get through the nomination and confirmation process first. Then let’s ignore and not feed the skin color narrative.
You post about the skin color crap, but then immediately use a piece of racial propaganda (which was not good) as an example of a non-racial military. Methinks you’ve spent too much time in the sulfuric bowels of DC.
I think I may have pulled the trigger a bit early.
If Browns attitude and knowledge of the current state of strategic affairs and his understanding of his sister services equals the clarity in which he sees his own organization, then I have completely misjudged the man.
So, I’ll shelf my opinion until I see his actions.
You can take that to the bank and cash it brother. !
Let’s re-assess that after he clears Senate confirmation
Not gonna happen til DOD recinds their decision to fund anyone who wants an abortion - this could take awhile …
Tracking.
Will be interesting to see if they make an exception on this nomination and let this one through.
Roger that.
Now Charlie Brown is black and head of the Joint Chiefs? (Go ahead and laugh, its funny.)
Our real enemy is all these woke assholes.

A good read and great discussion points for this thread.
