On July 25, 2020, Sgt. Daniel Perry unexpectedly turned into a Black Lives Matter protest a little before 10 p.m. on Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas. His right of way was blocked by protestors who surrounded the vehicle, beat on, and kicked it.

Garret Foster, one of the protestors, openly armed with an AK47-style semi-automatic rifle, approached Perry’s driver’s side window and motioned for him to roll down the window.

After Sgt Perry rolled down the window, He says Foster raised the rifle towards him, and he fired in self-defense. Another protestor fired at Perry’s vehicle as protestors scattered, and he drove out of the danger zone.  Perry immediately called 911 and told police what had happened.  At this link, defense attorneys give Perry’s version of events.

The initial investigation by Austin police found the case was one of self-defense.  Foster appears to have been masked when he approaches the car. No one was arrested or prosecuted. Sgt Perry fully cooperated with the police.

On November 3, 3030, Soros-Funded José Garza was elected the Travis County District Attorney.  Austin is in Travis County.

In 2021, Garza convened a grand jury and obtained controversial indictments against Perry, in which a Police Detective, David Fugitt complained of Garza’s bias against Perry.

It’s similar to the prosecution/persecution of Kyle Rittenhouse. The mere fact they were at the scene of a riot, and armed, made them “vigilantes” regardless of the actions of the rioters.

When traveling from SATX to visit our daughter at UNT, we almost always took 281 to avoid Austin. A little longer drive, but much more scenic. Dad was born and raised in Austin and by the time he passed five years ago, it was 180° out of phase from his experience.

So If I go through the process and get a CCW.

As I recall, both Perry and Foster had Texas handgun carry licenses.

"The woketardian jurors just voted to outlaw a citizen’s right of self-defense and in doing so, the jurors and prosecutors give aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States. "

And this is what you can expect if you show your American patriotic ass in ANUSTIN, TX.

A convicted felon out of prison on probation has been charged in the slaying of a 29-year-old Arizona woman who was stabbed 15 times, according to authorities.

Zion Teasley, 22, of Phoenix, was charged Friday with first-degree murder in connection with the April 28 death of Phoenix resident Lauren Heike on a hiking trail in the city, according to the New York Post.

Bail was set at $1 million cash for Teasley, an ex-Marine who was arrested Thursday after he already had purchased a ticket for a flight to Detroit.
