Elon Musk: Parents Don’t Know What the Kids Are Being Taught

Bill Maher interviewed Elon Musk and discussed the new progressive ideology, which Elon Musk calls the “woke mind virus.” Maher said he is being called a conservative, and so is Musk. Maher, a liberal, said he hasn’t changed. They’ve changed. Musk, a self-described moderate who said he voted for Joe Biden, agreed.

They are left behind. Maher said the WOKEs are the opposite of liberals. He seemed surprised as if it was news.

Parents Don’t Know What the Kids Are Being Taught They don’t seem to know where this insanity came from.

“Did it escape from a lab? What is your assessment? Because it’s fairly recent. How did it start and why?” Maher asked, confused.”I was trying to figure out where it’s coming from,” Musk said to Maher. “I think it’s actually been a long time brewing in that it’s I think it’s been going on for a while. The amount of indoctrination that’s happening in schools and universities is, I think, far beyond what parents realize.

I say again that if you still have your child in public school, you are contributing to their abuse. You may think, "My child's school is different. They don't teach that crazy stuff". You are wrong. They are teaching that crazy stuff to your child, and the fact that you aren't aware of it just means they are good at hiding it from you.

It's amazing how quickly the left turned on Musk once he became vocal in his support for Free Speech and came out against the indoctrination and grooming of children.

Many on the left are now turning against Maher for the same reasons.

If there was any silver lining to covid it was that parents got a look at what was going on in the classroom because of remote learning.

At least it exposed it....but I agree, public schools should be avoided at all costs.

Problem is nowadays many parents see school as a babysitter and are not engaged with the child’s learning experience......that’s what these trans indoctrination demons count on.

I really don’t understand some of these people who label themselves as “Liberal” and yet who are unhappy with how Democrats are behaving.

First: labels are silly and they change, and no one these days knows what any term means because it all gets twisted up. But we have (supposedly) a two-party system, and you’re either on this side of the line, or on that side of the line.

As I see it, “Liberals” want to be good people. They want to help people.They want to actively participate in making things new and better.

Look around. Communism killed 100 million people. Joe Biden is corrupt. Bill Clinton was a sleaze. Activist government pushed the entire COVID narrative on us. Democrat presidents are always getting us into wars. Cities where Democrats are in charge are just hellholes.

You want to be a Good Guy? Supporting Democrats is the last thing you should do.

But plenty of people like Maher are still trying to thread some sort of needle and support awful people. Because that’s what Good Guys do. Or something.

The cognitive dissonance is extreme.

It has been going on with intensity for at least thirty years. It took decades to build up the steam.

What was that Abraham Lincoln quote, what is taught in the classroom in one generation becomes public policy in the next.

The school teachers in my church.. not sure how to handle that. Heist confrontation led religious heresy directly and often. But if they are teaching that, they are not in communion with Christ. Wheat and tares… not a new problem.

The problem entered school when the curriculum was expanded to include “Social Studies”.

I agree. But, it's also true that the cultural degeneration we are undergoing has accelerated dramatically in the past 3 or 4 years.

I remember one telling moment during the Dem presidential debate (which would have been summer of 2021), where someone said something about "men who give birth", and then mumble-walked it back. I couldn't believe I'd heard it at the time. Now this sort of thing is said without shame or fear of being laughed off the stage.

Well, not exactly. As an example, reparations was taught to a lot of people (myself included) in school, but you get out in the world for a while and realize what a travesty it would be to impose this on society. There is a lot about woke that just doesn’t work, but it takes a while to shake the bad programming.
