The thing that makes me laugh the most is when liberals breathlessly criticize Republicans for believing “all the lies” they are told by Fox.
The idea that a major news corporation keeps a dirt sheet on their prominent media personalities might sound scandalous, but it’s actually sound business and normal.
Fox spends millions of dollars advertising, promoting, and supporting Tucker, Hannity, etc... and the shows that they head. They’re buying commercial time, building sets, paying for production, etc... If they’re not keeping tabs on that investment by collecting (and occasionally paying off people to be silent about) dirt involving that personality, they’re just asking for their investments to be set on fire at any point.
Trying to use that dirt as blackmail to keep him/her under control, or leveraging it after the personality leaves employment... different story entirely, though it could be argued that keeping other expensive network assets quiet and in line has its own sort of value. Not saying it’s moral or right, but I’m saying I understand.

Let me guess - Tucker Carlson used the ‘c’ word and didn’t suffer fools... Yeah, it’s probably raunchy...
But Tucker doesn’t sexually mutilate children or sterilize them... and he doesn’t call for it. So he uses the ‘c’ word on hundreds of women. Don’t care... he was willing to ask the hard questions.. and willing to dig for understanding.

There might be made up stuff; there might be stuff they try to reframe as “bad”
BUT.... there is nothing insanely scandalous.
WHY, you might ask?
Because if they had that dossier, they would have used it to control Tucker’s show.
They wouldn’t have fired him because he would have been their asset.
FOX already torched themselves. Carlson doesn’t have to say anything. He will probably treat FOX as “The Company That Will Not Be Named.” He will leave FOX in the rearview mirror, as would a person who broke up with a partner that was a psycho. And he will continue to make videos from the Home Studios that FOX built for him.
Lying bastards are acting like lying bastards.
I don’t believe a word that they say about Tucker Carlson.
