No....Hochul and NYS just created a brand new law lifting any Statute of Limitations so liars like Carroll could jump on the bandwagon.
FWIW, I don’t think this is about actually convicting Trump anymore.
I think it’s about sending a message to anyone MAGA who’d like to run.
I know that it is a law in some states, but have only heard about it as it relates to adults who were children when the abuse / rape / incest occurred. It’s because children didn’t have power to cry out, report, etc.
I don’t know about adults who recall abuse while adults. Because they did have agency to take action.
