DeSantis knows how to win elections and enact conservative policy but when it comes to the art of politicking, he's definitely got some learning to do.

What this article doesn't make clear is why President Trump - who must have known of DeSantis’ treachery - didn't immediately step in and make an appearance at the event and save Zeldin’s campaign.

DeSantis was a part of the New York republicans surge in November. Campaigned on long island for all the winning candidates and for Zeldin. The idea that he supported Hochul is the new dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Especially considering Hochel’s covid incompetence.

Hell, he did that ‘growing’ regarding Ukraine in about 4 days (from anti-war to pro-war). I think Ukraine is a special case, though, as the Deep State DEMANDS that Trump’s anti-war position remain isolated among major Republican figures, which DeSantis nearly destroyed by initially being honest about Ukraine (basically none of our business)....but they did tell him what was required, and he complied.
