Former Fox News host Glenn Beck said Monday that the departure of Tucker Carlson would “kill” the conservative news network.
“I think that’ll kill Fox, I really do,” Beck said. “I know so many people that still kinda like Fox, they watch other shows, but they’re like, Tucker is the only one I really trust. You lose Tucker Carlson; I think that really kills them.” “You’re getting rid of Tucker Carlson? Wow,” Beck added. “Letting him walk out the door even? Wow.”

Very true and I’ll add his stunt at the border with Cruz, as well.
It seems like not one of these folks actually gets it. Even Carlson and folks like Bongino. They just don’t seem to understand what the man or woman on the street really thinks.

I’m with you. I’m not a Mormon or a Glenn Beck fan but think he’s got a lot of insight into this. After all, he made the transition to the podcast, as did Megyn Kelly, and they couldn’t be more pleased.

Not sure if you’re on any social media, but there’s a clip circulating the world on various platforms showing members of the media reciting the same exact lines. One would think that there is a central group controlling all of it. Shocking, I know.
Sheryl Attkisson did a TedTalk and she played clips from all over the country. Small market news anchors up to big ones. All the same words on their teleprompters.
The general consensus is that they are on their way down and out.
I’m betting that the majority of Fox viewership in those time slots was all based on Carlson. Folks watched Carlson. And for the hell of it, maybe stayed up and watched Hannity and Ingraham. I’m thinking that the number of folks thinking that Hannity and Ingraham were must see tv, is very, very small.

Fox just stepped on the greased slope.
They fired Tucker right after he interviewed RFK Jr about big pharma..so you can bet the neocons and big pharma lovers on Fox did NOT like that..he gave RFK Jr a platform to talk while Cavuto only went after him..Fox News wants to be MSNBC and CNN Lite so that’s fine dont care..that’s their bed they gotta lie in it

Those organizations seem to be immune to market forces. They get money from the deep pockets that want to influence the opinions of hundreds of millions of people to service an unknown agenda. China? Some informal club of billionaires that comes out of Davos? Who knows.
True, but none of the names listed were close to what Tucker Carlon was in the ratings, he was the #1 host in Prime Time in America and 2nd place wasn’t even close.
He was the heavy hitter that the rest of the line up lived off of.

Yes. But. It’s a huge loss to not be able to speak to Carlson’s gigantic audience. Carlson, unlike any other figure, was able to push a non-ruling-class narrative out to a very broad audience.
I did not always agree with his takes. But he was a hugely important media figure and there is no place for him to go that will garner 1/10th the audience he had on Fox.
I would certainly follow his podcasts, if he goes that direction. But even the biggest podcasters in the world (eg Joe Rogan) have an audience that is a tiny fraction of Carlson’s fox news audience.
I cancelled my cable package, deny them one carriage fee at a time!
Tucker was the only thing I watched on Fox, and not only the cable network but this will kill Fox Nation as well - his interviews were the reason it was started, the rest is pap.
Tucker really doesn’t have the legs for NeverTrump News.

One conservative at a time they are stripping us of our voice on national platforms. This is only the beginning come 2024 you will not see conservatives upfront presenting their ideas etc…..we are being “SILENCED”. One commentator at a time! I believe that when Rush died, they saw a huge opportunity to go in for the kill, and that’s exactly what they’ve been doing all this time they’re going for the kill. They’re almost there. I’m sorry to disappoint you all but the majority of Americans, though they have a cell phone, still get their news from two sources…TV and radio. I have tons of family, members and friends, who still get their news from the tube and not social media. And those bastard, those evil bastards know this as well! That’s why they’re going in for the kill. Hannity will most likely be the next one on the chopping block and so is Maria Bartiromo, Kudlow are also in line to get the 🪓.

It’s possible this was done primarily in order to sink RFK Jr’s candidacy. Tucker would have given him lots of airtime and he would have had a chance to speak to 5 million people each time. Which other cable network will do that?
They need to put an end to RFK Jr, this is a way to damage him without having to deny what a Kennedy says after every TC show.
