Nothing is stopping them from paying what they deem their “fair share”.
Rather than raise taxes let’s see the “progressives” end their handouts for pet projects and all tax loopholes (credits for approved activities, EV for example)
Personally I’d like to see everyone with skin in the game. If a program is proposed they will be required to disclose how much your taxes will increase. More cost benefit analysis, no more hiding .

Yup! Nothing is stopping them from paying a full 10% of their income in taxes. The Treasury Department will accept it.
