This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“So why is this 23 year old Airman in jail and not the Washington Post editors/reporters?”
My understanding is the WaPo got the information off the internet. They didn’t conspire to steal secret docs.
If you retrieved info publicly available on the internet and wrote an article about it or posted some of the info on FR, should you be in jail?
The 23 year old distributed secret/classified docs. He should end up in jail.
Let today’s circle jerk commence.

The Russian military, the second largest military in the world, may not be what it looks like. Lies and systematic corruptions may in fact have dragged Russia into this war with Ukraine, which has been heavily backed up by the US and NATO. We will present the evidence, you make your own decision, because the Russian Army, is not what you think.

Designed to support the U.S. Army Captains Career Course, “Understanding Combined Arms Warfare” defines and outlines the important aspects of modern combined arms operations. This is not a complete history of combined arms warfare. It is intended to highlight the most important aspects of the subject.
The beginning of the documentary establishes a common understanding of combined arms warfare by discussing doctrinal and equipment developments in World War I. The second part compares the development of French and German Army mechanization during the interwar period and describes how each country fared during the Battle of France in 1940. The film concludes by showing how the United States applied combined arms operations in the European Theater in World War II.

“Yes, we can confirm that a portion of Bradleys have arrived,” Army Maj. Charlie Dietz, a Pentagon spokesman
Dietz would not say when they arrived or how many have arrived, deferring those questions to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry (MoD). The U.S. has promised 113 Bradleys to Ukraine, including 109 M2A2-ODS-SA variants and four BFIST versions.
The U.S. military has been training Ukrainian personnel to operate and maintain Bradleys at the Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany since at least February of this year. That same month, a commercial cargo ship, the ARC Integrity, arrived in that country carrying more than 60 Bradleys ultimately bound for Ukraine.

-—> Germany Says It Delivered Patriot Missile Battery To Ukraine <——
The U.S. has also promised Ukraine a Patriot system, but the Pentagon is not saying when or if it has been delivered yet.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/germany-says-it-delivered-patriot-battery-to-ukraine
Excerpts:
The Patriot system, along with additional trucks, was added to the category of “delivered” military assistance this week as part of Germany’s $2.41 billion commitment of lethal and non-lethal aid to Ukraine.
This is the first confirmed delivery of a Patriot battery to Ukraine. The U.S. has also promised to deliver a MIM-104 Patriot air defense system, but the Pentagon on Tuesday again declined to say whether it has been delivered yet.
“We don’t have any updates on this end and will allow the Ukrainians to announce any arrivals when they’re ready to do so,” Army Maj. Charlie Dietz, a Pentagon spokesman
Though Patriots are “capable of intercepting cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and aircraft, it’s important to put the Patriot battery in context,” a senior U.S. defense official told reporters ...
“For air defense, there is no silver bullet. Our goal is to help Ukraine strengthen a layered integrated approach to air defense that will include Ukraine’s own legacy capabilities as well as NATO standard systems. Patriot will complement a range of medium- and short-range air defense capabilities that we have provided and the allies have provided in prior donation packages.”
While one Patriot air defense system is not a game-changer, it represents a big boost to Ukraine’s ability to protect the most critical areas of its skies.
Exactly how much it will help remains to be seen.

The Patriot (MIM-104) is a long-range, all-altitude, all-weather air defence system to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and advanced aircraft.
The Patriot system is modular and highly mobile. A battery-sized element can be installed in less than an hour. All components, consisting of the fire control section (radar set, engagement control station, antenna mast group, electric power plant) and launchers, are truck- or trailer-mounted.
The radar set and launchers (with missiles) are mounted on M860 semi-trailers, which are towed by Oshkosh M983 HEMTTs. Missile reloading is accomplished using a M985 HEMTT truck with a Hiab crane on the back.
The AN/MPQ-53/65 Radar Set is a passive electronically scanned array radar equipped with IFF, electronic counter-countermeasure (ECCM), and track-via-missile (TVM) guidance subsystems. The AN/MPQ-53 Radar Set supports PAC-2 units, while the AN/MPQ-65 Radar Set supports PAC-2 and PAC-3 units.
The main difference between these two radars is the addition of a second traveling wave tube (TWT), which gives the −65 radar increased search, detection, and tracking capability.

-—> Pentagon Gives Statement On Russian T-90 Tank Left At Truck Stop <——
The Pentagon confirmed that the Russian tank that found its way to Louisiana was indeed headed to Aberdeen Proving Ground.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/pentagon-gives-statement-on-russian-t-90-tank-left-at-truck-stop
Excerpts:
“The tank’s explosive reactive armor was inert, it was not armed or carrying any dangerous material, and at no point posed a risk to the public,” Sue Gough, a Pentagon spokesperson ...
“I can confirm that a T-90 tank was being transported to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, when the truck transporting it suffered a mechanical issue. That issue has been fixed and the item is secure.”
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to provide Ukraine the capabilities it needs to counter Russian aggression,” she said. “For security reasons, we will not comment further on this matter.”
So we may never know the fate of this tank. But given where it is headed, it is likely that it could be used for destructive testing - such as testing weaponry against it. It could also be used to familiarize troops with foreign equipment, or in some other sort of foreign materiel exploitation (FME) capacity.
[ Russians Finally Retreat | Counterattack Successful | Its Happening: The Russians Are Losing Grip on Bakhmut ]
••Day 419: April 18
Today the biggest news is coming from the East.
Here, Russian commanders of the airborne forces, in an attempt to take all the credit for the Bakhmut operation, recently conducted a massive offensive and gained a lot of ground. However, their achievements were short-lived, as Ukrainians quickly adjusted, dragged Russians through the kill zones, and conducted a successful counterattack, returning everything that they lost.
Previously, I told you that Russian conventional forces conducted an intense attack in the northern part of the city and, due to the sheer manpower superiority, forced Ukrainians to step back from their positions. I also told you that by the end of the day, Ukrainians managed to break the momentum by focusing their artillery fire on this region, which allowed them to start launching limited counterattacks.
The freshest reports indicate that over the last two days, Ukrainian forces have been rapidly gaining momentum. The first confirmation of Ukrainian success came from a Ukrainian fighter from the Aidar Battalion. He stated that Ukrainians recaptured at least half of the high-rise buildings on the outer edge.
Later, footage of the explosion was published, showing how the Municipal Department of Culture was reduced to rubble. The explosion was controlled and conducted by Ukrainian forces, which clearly suggests that Ukrainians returned control over the second half of the high-rise buildings. Later, this information was confirmed by Russian forces that showed that Russians were trying to cross the alley.
This means that today Ukrainians have achieved two crucial objectives. Firstly, by destroying the building in the middle of the wide and open alley, Ukrainians significantly complicated Russian assaults because this building was the only thing that provided them cover. Secondly, Ukrainians secured control over the outer edge of the city, which allows destroying all Russian assault units that try to approach Khromove and cut one of the main supply roads to Bakhmut.
Russians also partially retreated from the residential area with small houses. Today’s combat footage showed how Russians are either retreating or abandoning their positions. This group was spotted near the railways, and not all of them survived, which clearly indicates Ukrainian presence.
After seeing that almost all gains generated by their extremely costly offensive effort had disappeared, Russians resorted to intense shelling. Ukrainian fighters reported that shelling was indeed very intense, although Russians were late as the most important strong points were already recaptured. As Russians noticed that the situation did not change in their favor, they started using massive guided air bombs.
A Ukrainian fighter from the Aidar Battalion reported that in the aftermath of artillery and aviation strikes, the residential area with small houses had been almost completely wiped out, so from now on, neither Ukrainians nor Russians cannot maintain a permanent presence in this region.
Russians also changed their tactic, and right now, they are assaulting Ukrainian positions in the following way. Firstly, they focus their artillery fire on a very narrow section of the front and then send a human wave to try and capture a quarter. If it doesn’t work, then they repeat the procedure. So far, it doesn’t work at all, and in the evening, one of the fighters said that today Russians lost here at least 200 men.
Heavy use of artillery and human waves consisting of large assault units is exactly how regular Russian forces work in other directions, which once again indicates that commanders of airborne forces took over the operation in Bakhmut.
Overall, the recent Russian offensive effort to collapse the Ukrainian defense in Bakhmut failed. It looks like the commanders of the airborne forces tried to simultaneously take over the operation, surprise Ukrainians with new tactics, and get the credit for ending the Battle for Bakhmut.
Unfortunately for Russians, Ukrainians quickly understood that Russian forces were overly concentrated and started retreating whenever necessary, while Ukrainian artillery was eliminating hundreds of attackers. As a result, Russians ran out of men to sustain the same intensity of attacks, their attack imploded, and Ukrainians gradually took back almost all territories from which they temporarily retreated.

However, Denys says that could be done in 3X faster [or 6 months] once the decision is actually made.

UK Defence Update:
Russia may have transferred some troops for Donetsk area (Avdiivka) to Bakhmut.
Denys say this is indication that the Russian Army is unable to preform two tasks simultaneously. Before the war Western analysts said Russia is capable of preforming two operations in two different countries at once. Now they are struggling to capture one small city.

Ukraine imitates the Russians by issuing military tickets. Once obtained, a person can be called up anytime. Without it you cannot do anything, just like in Russia. Some hospitals refuse to care for people without this ‘ticket’. All Ukrainians have an app on their phones called DIA which contains all of their official documents.
About 90% of the Ukrainian people support the war and the return of occupied territories using the military. But manpower is short volunteers.

After the war, there could be a revolution or “Maidan” in Ulraine. Everyone knows how corrupt the government is. Zelensky polled at 11% before the war, but now because he stayed in Kiev and got allies, he’s at 80%.
However, there needs to be accountability for the betrayal of Ukraine in the South that allowed there Russians in without a shot fired.

Ukrainian troops in Sweden have completed their training and are returned to Ukraine.
But the intelligence finding is striking nonetheless as it appears to affirm what observers had only hypothesized previously: that a program ostensibly designed to protect the Kremlin’s satellites can be employed instead to attack those used by its adversaries.”

If, IF either of those assumption are true. So this is speculation in absence of confirmation. And like the last attempt, may only require a software patch to defeat.
“Its Happening: The Russians Are Losing Grip on Bakhmut”
And Kazan is saying RuZZians have captured 90% of Bakhmut.
Why don’t I trust Kazan? He’s been posting Moon of Alabama crap for months. Info that came from the Donbass RuZZian girl who is from New Jersey!
Why is that your understanding? It doesn’t say that. You’re assuming it so, but who’s to say the information wasn’t actually delivered to the Washington Post by their handlers in the CIA/FIB?
Or maybe the Airman was working with the Washington Post?
Or maybe the Washington Post is just making it up?
Again, just going by facts, it said:
“obtained by the Washington Post.”
There’s many ways that could happen.
I’m not trying to argue with you, I read your thread every day, but there is a lot to digest on this one story alone, as written by a press organization that I know has lied to us so many times. They have a brutal and permanent bias.
“Russia Turns to Treason Laws as Putin Extends Crackdown”
“Journalists, activists and dissidents risk longer sentences than they did before Russia invaded Ukraine, lawyers say”
“Russia is increasingly using treason and espionage laws to smother criticism of the war against Ukraine after President Vladimir Putin’s government widened the scope of the legislation and expanded his crackdown on opponents.
Sentences are often longer than they were before last year’s invasion, Russian lawyers and human-rights defenders say, and prosecutors often add more severe charges including terrorism and extremism to acts of dissent that were previously punished with petty fines or suspended sentences.”

Apparently most captured Russian tank interiors are far worse.
But then cleanliness is not a requirement when both tank and crew are expendable.
“It doesn’t say that. You’re assuming it so”
Yes I am.
Is it not a logical conclusion?
The docs are/were on the internet.
“I read your thread every day”
Thanks. I don’t consider you an adversary.
Peace.
RuZZian Boy!
I remember a video very early in the war.
A RuZZian tank was captured by UA.
UA soldier said, “our stuff is better than this crap”.
It would appear that Russia has now lost 50+ percent of their active tank inventory prior to the start of the war.
Artillery losses are also mounting and increasing. I see this as a WIN for NATO as this works to removed the tactic of overwhelming a nation by a massive tank assault. The overwhelming tank assault strategy was a “core” component to the Russian plan for eliminating NATO. I am of the opinion that is no longer an option.
“I see this as a WIN for NATO”
Huge win.
All for a relatively modest taxpayer expenditure.
Update on the conflict in Ukraine for April 19, 2023
- Both Russia's and Ukraine's presidents visit front line troops in Kherson and the Donbass region respectively;
- Russian forces continue to gain ground in Bakhmut, pro-Ukrainian maps show the main rail station now under Russian control;
- Ukrainian general admits Russia carrying out airstrikes in Bakhmut further indicating an increasingly pivotal change in the nature of fighting in Russia's favor;
- Western analysis continues to paint a bleak picture regarding Ukraine's upcoming offensive, noting that even if it manages to succeed in taking territory, it does little to change the lopsided nature of what is actually a war of attrition Ukraine is losing;
- Former Western diplomats and military leaders have called for greater support for Ukraine, refusing to acknowledge the limits of Western military industrial output and Ukraine's ability to absorb weapon systems they are unfamiliar with;
Still using Moon of Alabama crap?
Which has been shown to all be a fraud. That website got info from the Donbass RuZZian Girl who lives in New Jersey!
