U.S. climate czar John Kerry claimed in an interview on Sunday that “so much has been invested in clean energy that there can be no rolling back of moves to end carbon emissions,” according to an interview with the Associated Press.
Kerry claimed that if countries phase out petroleum-based fuels, the world can purportedly limit average global warming to 1.7 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
“We’re in a very different place than where we were a year ago, let alone two and three years ago,” Kerry said.
“But we’re not doing everything we said we’d do,” he said, after attending a meeting of energy and environment ministers of the Group of Seven wealthy nations. “A lot of countries need to step up including ours to reduce emissions faster, deploy renewables faster, bring new technologies online faster all of that has to happen.”

It is a multi-hundred billion dollar scam. Companies making bogus products, government weanies running big dollar give-away programs, university professors getting endless gravy to churn out more true believers, small companies getting government grants to do “research,” people putting solar cells on their roofs, solar contractors all over the place who won’t leave you alone.
I saw another parking lot yesterday covered with a HUGE canopy for solar cells. You now have to go to your car in a dark, enclosed space where you once went out in the open where you could maintain situational awareness.
I kicked a door-to-door solar salesman off my property last week. He asked “May I ask you why you don’t like solar” and I replied “Do you have a few free hours?”
The whole thing makes me sick.

How does he know it’s 1.7 degrees and not 1.9 or 1.5 or .08 or even zero? All speculation. No firm facts. And what caused warming after the last ice age? Certainly not fossil fuel.
