How long would it take to know (from the spinal tap) if it was meningitis?
How long does it take for the results of a spinal tap to be reported? I would expect this would have been one of the first tests done.
Minutes? Days? Weeks?

It is variable. Cell counts specifically the number of white and red cells are usually available within 30 minutes. this can suggest the presence of meningitis but doesn’t give much info about the causative agent ( viral vs bacterial) though it can give you a basis for a guess. Definitive testing includes PCR tests for common viral and bacterial causes and can take hours to days. The gold standard is a culture that usually takes 48 hours. All patients are admitted and treated with IV antibiotics until culture results are available (unless there is positive pcr before that). If the culture is negative at 48 hours usually it is presumed to e viral (not contagious and no further treatment needed). If bacterial meningitis is confirmed by pcr or culture 7-10 days of antibiotics are needed, usually I.V. occasionally bacterial meningitis will be assumed even if testing negative if the patient has an infectious contact and the right symptoms. If bacterial meningitis is confirmed or strongly suspected close contacts will often be started on oral antibiotics prophylactically. Probably more than you wanted to know…

I think not related means they were not caused by close contact, not a condition transmitted from on to another.
My whole family abjured the vax altogether. I would have quit my job were it required to keep working.

I know people who would put off going to the doctor for these symptoms saying they are just a “stomach bug.” they would not consider the headaches as anything but headaches. That is why a portion of these victims die. They wait until too late.

not necessarily. it can be spread by close contact shared utensils and in some cases droplets. It does not require physical let alone sexual contact. The usual scenario is of spreads through a dorm or military barracks which is why most students starting college and most new military recruits are vaccinated just before they move in
I’ll admit I left my modifier dangling and further the proper work might by which instead of that. Grammar question however, it is not the subject that determine the conjugation of the verb? Since the vaccine is the subject (singular) would it not require a conjugation of the verb in the 3rd person singular. In this case saves? Were the subject pleural (vaccines for example) then it would be third person pleural conjugation (save)? If I diagram the sentence, the simple sentence is vaccine saves lives. I believe you have conjugated in your example based on the object, not the subject and it is the subject that determines the predicate.
There are not multiple vaccines against species. There is one vaccine to address the species not a distinction without difference

If there is bacterial meningitis — the normally clear or champagne color cerebral spinal fluid is cloudy and turbid (pus is present) it can be an eye ball diagnosis.
From the lab — a gram stain takes about 15 minutes. This disease can go from presentation to deadly within six hours. It also has a pretty classic rash.

Both nouns are, in fact, plural but Bacteria does not have an “S” on the end so the sense of a scan is that it is singular and thus “saves” follows from it. Saves, at any rate, doesn’t agree with either noun.
