“ The Ukrainian authorities have begun to take back weapons from the civilian population of Dnepropetrovsk (a large city in Ukraine) that were distributed to citizens at the beginning of the war, fearing that the people would rise up against the corrupt government.” —————— “ Like in Kiev 10,000 machine guns were handed out to people in just a few hours!!! Crazy!
Most of these guns end up in the hands of criminal or aggressive citizens, of course...

They are idiots if they hand them back over.
I read a report a year ago that said that Ukraine is using CBDCs.
And if they don’t, and SBU secret police finds them in a house search, they’ll face summary execution, AKA street murder.
That’s so kool - now I want our government to pass out machine guns... then become afraid of us.
“Most of these guns end up in the hands of criminal or aggressive citizens, of course...”
But...
“The Ukrainian authorities have begun to take back weapons from the civilian population ...fearing that the people would rise up against the corrupt government.”
Those are two different ideas.
Make up your mind which way you want to go with your propaganda.
Right? I'm wondering what type of "machine guns" they got.
I would LOVE to get gifted a full-auto AK.
Our resident Ukraine Propaganda Thread Poster will not like this news.
I think the government always requires the return of weapons it has issued temporarily, especially high-quality important ones.
I never got to keep any of my government-issued weapons.
“”They are idiots if they hand them back over.””
Being government-issued stock they probably kept records, as the government always does when it issues weapons.
You wonder how the Nazzzees have time to confiscate guns when they have plenty of churches left to burn.
I am sure that’s it. Your amazing clarity sees this all so clearly.
I get it now.
Now I understand why you chose a twitter post as your source you wanted these words included “”fearing that the people would rise up against the corrupt government.”” and to give the impression it was a move against private ownership of guns.
The reality is that when the rifles, machine guns, and rocket-propelled grenades were issued from the Police Station it was intended to be temporary government issue to people and records kept.
“”The decree states that civilians must return their issued weapons within 10 days after the cancellation, or termination, of martial law. It also states that citizens can turn in their weapons if they do not feel like fighting.”
* September - Russians 10 miles form Dnepropetrovsk
* Today - Russian forces pushed 200 miles from the town
Russian propogandists: That Ukraine no longer has to defend major town is sign of Ukraine weakness!
Or is that your Twitter channel?
So says the pro-Kremlin hack Tatiana Vajrayana, who’s long been on Putin’s payroll.
Well, I wouldn't say no to a free AK, but somehow, a real machine gun and a few thousand rounds of ammunition would be better. I'd prefer an M2, but would settle for an M240.
I’d love to have an MG 42.
1,500 rounds a minute ( roughly 25 rounds per second )and man portable.
