The BBC has found a company registered in London that broadcasts Russian disinformation to an Arabic-speaking audience
https://www.currenttime.tv/a/bbc-kompaniya-propaganda-kremlya/32351818.html
The BBC’s anti-disinformation department has discovered the UK-registered company Yula Group, which broadcasts Russian disinformation to an audience of millions in the Arabic-speaking world.
“Yula Group is the parent company of Yala News. The channel’s journalists, together with disinformation specialists, have been tracking the most popular Yala News videos for a year and found that almost all of them are “native” from Kremlin–controlled or pro-Kremlin sites.
Among them were fake news that the massacre of Bucha residents was staged, that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, was drunk during a video message to the people, that Ukrainian soldiers were fleeing from the front. All of them were reproduced on the Yala News page a few hours after they appeared in Russian state publications.
Belen Carrasco Rodriguez, an employee of the British Center for Information Stability, believes that Yala News is the Kremlin’s mouthpiece in the Middle East. “Yala is popular with the Arab audience, and Kremlin–linked sources can use this to their advantage,” she says.
The Yula Group website is filled mostly with random texts and stock photos, and most of the good reviews look fake because they were written on the same dates by the same users. The company, as the BBC found out, is registered in central London, at an address shared with it by more than 65 thousand firms. Yala Group does not have a real office and staff there.
Geolocation journalists determined that the photos posted on Facebook of Yale employees and office were taken in one of the suburbs of Damascus, many of the employees themselves write in their profile that they are based there.
Experts suggest that Yala registered in the UK in order not to look like a company from a sub-sanctioned country. The director of Yale is a Syrian businessman Ahmad Moema, who lives in Dubai.
“Yala Group is a company based in the UK,– he said. – We have more than 500 clients, including public figures, representatives of the arts and young talents. We don’t have any employees in London yet, but they may appear in the near future.” When asked whether his company received money from the Russian or Syrian authorities, he said that he was “the only source of finance” and “no one can influence me.”

They certainly are doing a good job of it. The entire US and NATO can't supply enough weapons and ammo to Ukraine's dwindling supply of US/NATO trained troops whereas Russia has no problems at all, despite western propaganda. In fact they announced 2 weeks ago that they are expanding weapons production 8 to 9 times in preparation of any US/NATO direct troop involvement in the war.

.
Yep. That’s why the intelligence papers from the Pentagon leaked.
I have often wondered why Jesus asks we humans to do things which are so clearly impossible. Its a real mystery.
“You can have Jesus himself posting alongside you, I’ll never support Ukraine, one of the most corrupt POS countries on Earth.”
And yet, Russia is ranked as more corrupt than Ukraine. So, corruption can’t be your benchmark.
Yep. Bakhmut is in critical condition for Ukraine.
Enough of this Ukraine Propaganda. And giving U.S. Treasure to Corrupt Ukraine.
Ah gee, their little Nazi extermination plan didn't turn out the way they thought it would. Putin spoiled the whole party!.
.
Based on biased Western media outlets and the military industrial complex who have both conflicts of interests and objectives?
So, corruption can’t be your benchmark.
I don't care about Russia's "corruption." It's not affecting me as a taxpayer. Ukraine's real CORRUPTION, however, is affecting me.
It is kind of sad you are humiliating yourself by not comprehending. Try to understanding the context & parody.
If you are unaware, I offer clarity:
In 1998 at 20 years of age, [Twenty-four years ago] Zelensky joined his local team competing in the KVN comedy TV show.
International competitions were held where teams (usually college students) competed by giving funny responses to questions and/or showing prepared sketches.
GET THE PARODY: The rugged, tough Cossacks shown as feminized DRAG queens?!?!!
If you don’t get it that’s OK. The audience found it hysterical!
The initial Cossack costume was torn off before dancing.

Ukraine brings back 31 children from Russia amid war

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — The head of a Ukrainian rescue organization said Saturday that the organization has brought back 31 children from Russia, where they had been taken during the war.
Mykola Kuleba said at a news conference in Kyiv that the children were expected to arrive in the capital later in the day. Kuleba is the executive director of the Save Ukraine organization and is the presidential commissioner for children’s rights.
Deportations of Ukrainian children have been a concern since Russia’s Feb. 24, 2022, invasion of Ukraine. The International Criminal Court increased pressure on Russia when it issued arrest warrants on March 17 for President Vladimir Putin and Russian children’s rights commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova, accusing them of abducting children from Ukraine.
The International Committee of the Red Cross said this week it had been in contact with Lvova-Belova, the first confirmation of high-level international intervention to reunite families with children who were forcibly deported.
ICRC spokesman Jason Straziuso said the organization was in contact with Lvova-Belova “in line with its mandate to restore contact between separated families and facilitate reunification where feasible.”
An Associated Press investigation revealed Lvova-Belova’s involvement in the abductions and found an open effort to put Ukrainian children up for adoption in Russia.
Lvova-Belova told an informal U.N. Security Council meeting Wednesday that the children were taken for their safety, not abducted — a claim widely rejected by the international community.
The exact number of Ukrainian children taken to Russia has been difficult to determine, and numbers from the warring countries differ vastly.
A statement posted Wednesday on Twitter by Ukraine’s U.N. ambassador, Sergiy Kyslytsya, said more than 19,500 children had been seized from their families or orphanages and forcibly deported.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, thousands of children have been taken to Russia for ‘adoption’ or ‘re-education’. The ICC has issued an arrest warrant against Russian president Vladimir Putin and Russian commissioner for children, accusing them of unlawful transfer of people to Russia. To discuss this issue and measures which can be taken against it by the West I am joined here today by Oleksandr Bevz -advisor to the head of the presidential office of Volodymyr Zelensky

Russian dissident Vladmir Osechkin spoke to FRANCE 24 from the French city of Biarritz, where he has been living in exile since 2015. The founder of Gulagu.net, an NGO that documents abuses in the Russian prison system, believes the Russian secret services “tried to organise his liquidation” in September 2022. Osechkin compared Russian President Vladimir Putin to a “new Stalin” at the head of a 21st-century Gulag, “pushing inmates to head to war” in Ukraine.
It is all they have.
Russia makes announcements of grand measures, previously known as "Five Year Plans", all the time. Their ability to deliver is lacking.
Until Russia actually delivers on its words, its just words.

Zelenskyy comments on “leak” of documents: typical game of Russian secret services
European Pravda
Saturday, 8 April 2023, 12:56

Mykhailo Podoliak, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, treats the appearance of allegedly secret documents of Western allies in social networks as signs of a “standard game” played by the Russian secret services.
Source: European Pravda
On his Twitter account, Podoliak suggested that the publication of allegedly secret documents of the allies is a Russian information campaign aimed at driving a wedge between the allies.
“The aim of secret data “leaks” is obvious: divert attention, cast doubts & mutual suspicions, sow discord,” reads Podoliak’s tweet.
He hinted that the released materials are a compilation of data from open sources mixed with fiction or actual intercepts.
“It’s an ordinary game of ru-secret services. To take open briefings, add fake info or certain parts of interceptions & publish them on social networks [thus] legalizing the ‘leak’,” Podoliak added.
Recently, the NYT published a story about how the United States allegedly found out how the leak of secret documents of Ukraine’s allies could have affected the preparations for the upcoming Ukrainian counteroffensive, including the training of new brigades and the supply of Western weapons. There was no mention of Ukraine’s specific plans for the counterattack itself.
The next day, a new post appeared on this topic – a new batch of documents, allegedly with intelligence from the United States and close allies of the States, began to be published on Twitter and other social networks. Some of them relate to Ukraine, but in general, the topic is much broader – there are analytical notes concerning China and the entire Pacific region, the Middle East, and the allies’ fight against terrorism.
