YIKES — John Kirby says there’s “a lot to be proud of” in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and says a “lot of Afghans are now living better lives” now.

Oblivious much, kirby?
One of the most vital things Congress could do is pass a law that says decisions made by government agencies must include the NAMES of those officials making the decisions. That is true accountability and would not allow officials to hide behind fuzzy language like “The FBI announced” or “The DOJ said.”
Ironically, by dragging their feet on the withdrawal and passing it to Biden, the DoD saved Trump the embarrassment of Afghanistan falling to the Taliban on his watch. While the withdrawal might have gone smoother under Trump (without 13 dead Americans), the Taliban would have still taken over, including taking the billions of dollars in US weapons and equipment. The media would have made a huge deal out of it, unlike their coverage under Biden.
Because people falling off the sides of a plane that is taking off is not chaos.
