Political Pundit Mark Simone Admits Team Bush and Karl Rove are Group Behind Ron DeSantis Effort….
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 26, 2023 | Sundance

Put a fork in the opposition denials to what was increasingly obvious; it’s over. Last summer we saw the fingerprints of the professional republican apparatus all over the construct that was creating the Ron DeSantis 2024 effort. The data was all going in one direction, all of the constructs were identical to the Karl Rove playbook with the single addition of the Republican Governor’s Association as a participant. As the months moved forward the Rovian elements became more and more clear. The DeSantis supporters tried to deny it, but the truth of the issue is just too obvious.

Now, insider republican political pundit Mark Simone admits that Team Bush and Karl Rove are the specific organizers of the DeSantis 2024 effort. Appearing on Fox Business, Larry Kudlow asks directly, “who is behind the DeSantis campaign?” Simone admits, “yeah, it’s Karl Rove – Karl Rove has been advising DeSantis, that’s why he’s been getting a little bit better every week.” WATCH:

I support both Trump and DeSantis for now.

Whatever goes on between them is just politics. It’s the nature of the beast.

Bush Cadre = Deep State. Very disappointing. I was very high on DeSantis.

With this news I fear DeSantis may be another Paul Ryan in the making - campaign hard right and say all of the right things to get the grass roots into the voting booth. Once elected, veer hard back to the left and sabotage every promise made on the campaign trail to the grass roots while simultaneously sticking a knife into the back of each and every voter who pulled the lever for you.

Not good, strike one and strike two.

How does one prove they are not “tied to the Bushes” as you say? Does he have to come out and say that he denounces the Bushes? Does he have to have Jeb jailed? Or does the fact that Jeb (a two-term, popular Republican governor prior to the 2016 campaign) went to DeSantis’s inauguration forever “tie him to the Bushes?”

This is the idiocy on full display in Trump World. Ron DeSantis was a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus. He supported Donald Trump when many “establishment” Republicans wouldn’t. He has governed here in Florida in a much more proudly conservative way than any governor in my lifetime. But because he didn’t bend the knee to Trump and vow not to get in Trump’s way for the nomination, he has stupid nicknames thrown at him daily and is accused of all kinds of things that he hasn’t done. If we have a very, very popular very, very conservative Republican governor who governs on extremly conservative principles and moderates still like him, what is the problem? Isn’t that what we should want, so that we potentially win the presidency with huge coattails that bring lots of Republicans along with it to create a legislative majority? Because Trump has never had coattails, at least nothing since 2016. He’s toxic to independent voters.

You’re right. We’re much better off with a candidate that “rolls around in a dumpster” with Nick Fuentes, Laura Loser, and KKKanye West.”

I hear you. I just don’t want RD to end up being another Bush. He’s a great Governor and I think he will make a great President.

Glad you agree. rove and bush and their supporters are even bigger scum than Kanye. The latter is just a retard. The former are 'tards, too, but they have done deep lasting damage to America.

I guess Trump was right, he could kill someone (with his vax) and many of you would still support him.

Do you notice that none of these cultists consider DeSantis is using the apparatus?

Did DeSantis consult the Bushes before sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard?

Did DeSantis listen to Rove before taking on Disney?

DeSantis has already strayed far from the RINO camp with real conservative actions.

But the cultists do not care about real actions....they only care about innuendo and name-calling.

They lack substance.

There are plenty here who are not so blinded but support Trump.

Those "real actions" resulted in what?

BTW, I notice that in the very sentence that you complain about name calling, you call names.

LOL! And yet there you are calling names, you Hungarian meatball.

This was you in post #9:

RD is a great governor here, but if he’s tied to the Bushes (whom I voted for!)... not good.

The people at Conservative Treehouse are so inept that their original version of the is article described Mark Simone as an “insider political consultant.” LOL.

Yes, I saw that.

Anyway, what I found interesting was how Simone was able to deliver his message very carefully on the Ryan/Rove/DeSantis network without insulting Rove and without overtly criticizing DeSantis.

Very tactful.

I feel the same way. Right now, I have a wait and see attitude. There’s a lot of bickering going on, and it’s all political. I want to see what happens when the dust settles.
