This was a good moment during the pre-Trump rally in Waco, Texas. Florida House Republican Matt Gaetz tells the audience that without President Trump, both Ron DeSantis and Ted Cruz could have lost their elections.
MAGA showed up to support DeSantis and Cruz in 2018, as inspired by President Trump. Now is the time for Ted Cruz and Ron DeSantis to stand with the people who supported them to victory.

Step One: stop using childish name calling. It has nothing to do with legit debate.
You want a debate? Ok. What is it about Trump’s covid vaccine record that you admire? Trump is still unrepentantly proud of his deadly warp-speed vaccines. And it’s seems to me that for the last 10 month’s of his presidency Trump became submissive to Fauci, with disastrous results for the American people. Trump is the President who one day before leaving office gave Fauci an award, but refused to give any award to Thomas Sowell. In spite of the great record of Trump’s first 38 months as President, the last 10 months of his presidency were a disaster.
Question: what did you think of DeSantis BEFORE his 2022 LANDSLIDE re-election victory. That’s when Trump needlessly (IMHO) turned against him when there was a jarring contrast between DeSantis’ landslide and the defeat of so many Trump endorsed candidates.
The reasons for DeSantis’ landslide are his outstanding performance during his first term PLUS HE ACTUALLY TOOK MEASURES TO MINIMIZE THE POSSIBILITY OF VOTE FRAUD IN FLORIDA. Florida has previously had a history of vote fraud.
IMHO, we would have had different outcomes in other states (e.g., Arizona) had similar measures have been taken in those states.
I think desantis has had a mixed, but good record as governor.
I am not convinced the reason for his victory was his actions against voter fraud… since he did not eliminate much of it.
There are larger issues desantis will have to address about his record of votes in Congress and his close associations.
I look forward to his answers if he doesn’t drop out first.
