Millions of Americans have had it with the progressive political indoctrination that has infested entertainment and they are abandoning Disney and other companies like them.
That decision is starting to have a serious and negative effect on their bottom line.
Disney is now preparing to lay off thousands of workers as a result.

Couldn't think of a more deserving company. They'll never get another penny from my family.
I reckon Walt would think the idiots had it coming.
I’m pretty sure they will get rid of the wrong people.
Is the CEO one of them?
Disney used to be so charming, before the lefties ruined it like everything else!
You watch- Disney will keep all the freaks and sex perverts, and fire the normal folks.
There must be a pedo farm somewhere that they can gain employment...you know, like the Department of Education or our public libraries or the YMCA, etc, etc.
The layoffs will all be white men.
How terrible that they have ruined something that once used to be such a sweet experience for so many individuals and their families.
I got my career started at EPCOT center after college. Worked and lived there a year. It was the best year of my life as we got the run of the park — this was in the late 80’s before Woke perversion set in. Disney employed folks from all over the world who had the dream of working there. It was a paradise.
Names, addresses, and phone numbers of those who push the queer agenda, please. I’ll keep it polite.
It WAS a paradise - I grew up near Disneyland in the 60s - we were allowed to go once a year on “company night.” I remember the burning pioneer cabin from the old train ride - long since dismantled as non-PC. Ditto for the “Song of the South” splash ride, which was recently dismantled b/c racism.
Had a neighbor that worked on the Jungle Cruise and if he had a few he’d go into the hilarious monologue - that was in the days when they had the “guns” on the boats to shoot at wild animals and hostile natives - there was also a boiling pot of “explorers” with natives dancing around it. There was actually a “pot” where you could gather your family to take photos - with the family inside the pot. I don’t remember that feature but my SIL has the photos.
All long gone...
Feel good story of the day. I have already told my daughter not to ask me to help pay for my grandsons to visit any Disney property. No chance that will happen.
If you live in the SE US and want a really good place to go to that’s not been infected, go to Dollywood near Gatlinburg, TN. It’s in a beautiful location in the Smokey Mountains.
“pedo farm”
I hear public schools are hiring....
Yep Disney grooming service is dead to me as well. Will not but another product, have stopped watching anything marvel, cancelled D+.
My adult kids are on board to, no intention of over visiting Disney and they have abounded all their products. We even actively dissuade the grandkids from any Disney product and guide ether into other toys.
The few times we needed a Disney doll for my 2 year old granddaughter we bought at a consignment shop.
Eventually the lefts unwillingness to consider profitability comes back to bite them.
The left has bankrupted nearly every newspaper and magazine in America, and now they are doing the same with other industries.
Go woke, get broke.
One hears that there’s honest work at Jiffy Lube.
Well, that’s one way they will be protected from those Disney scabs. I don’t know why anybody in their right mind would give that much money to those Disney thugs let alone work for them. That’s the trouble with politicians handing out free money to the scum who vote for them. The votees end up blowing it on alcohol, drugs and Disney. Zip-a-dee-doo-dah my ***.
In that context, massive layoffs suggest that managerial and administrative positions have become bloated, that employment is misaligned with genuine business needs, and that Disney's immersive, pricey, labor-intensive new Star Wars experience is struggling to be profitable.
At the same time, Disney is in contract talks with its unions, with sporadic pickets at its Orlando theme park featuring signage with both wage demands and LGB themes. Due to rising living costs and labor militancy with cultural issues mixed in, Disney could be headed for the misery of choosing between a labor stoppage or large pay increases at the same time as layoffs and a tricky realignment of park operations.
Normally, as a Republican, conservative, and Orlando area resident, my sympathies would be with Disney and I would hope that it swiftly works through its troubles. Now though, I relish the prospect of extended corporate pain as punishment for Disney's wokeness. For tourists looking for theme park family fun in Central Florida, I suggest Universal and Harry Potter, Sea World, and Legoland.
