It wasn’t Trump’s money. The claim is, Cohen took out a loan and paid Stormy without Trump’s OK. Apparently thinking it would ingratiate him with Trump.
I have a friend who had a business relationship with a billionaire thru a university & they went in to ask for $50,000 for a project and the guy didn’t even blink. He said later he wished he asked for more.
Trump may have considered $100k to be “petty cash” and left it up to his attorneys to deal with minor expenses.
