On today's radio broadcast, Glenn warned about dangerous Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) language being smuggled into routine legislation in REPUBLICAN-led states. This is unacceptable, and as Glenn said, we can't let this legislation pass as it now stands.
The legislation being used to smuggle in this CBDC language is the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), a routine piece of legislation passed on the state level that helps standardize commercial and business transactions. However, a new round of UCCs being deliberated RIGHT NOW amongst a swath of Republican-led states anticipate the use of "electronic money." In a public letter sent to the Republican states currently deliberating this legislation, the Pro-Family Legislative Network said this can only refer to the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) under consideration and testing by the Federal Reserve. Biden's Executive Order 14067 issued in March of 2022 started the push for CBDC, and now these states, knowingly or unknowingly, are laying the legislative groundwork for making CBDC a reality.
There is absolutely no reason why Republican-led states should aid in laying the foundation for CBDC, yet 12 of them are deliberating it RIGHT NOW, with one UCC bill already on one GOP governor's desk! We have to act NOW to stop these UCCs in their tracks and demand our lawmakers amend the bills without the "electronic money" language.
If your state is listed below, contact your representative NOW to put an end to CBDC language.

How do they propose to eliminate cryptoassets, or is this just another fundraising/grifting appeal?
To eliminate peer-to-peer exchange networks, they’d have to ban cloud computing and the internet itself. They’d have to ban barter transactions.
If those things happen, I won’t be alone in violating the law frequently.

We already have digital currency.
The only time I use cash is to buy an occasional lottery ticket. And, I need quarters for my laundry room, because they switched to a PayPal style clone, which I refuse to fund.
Everything else is billed to my credit card, which I pay in full every month.

From time to time I think about buying legal marijuana.
I think that is cash only in Washington state.
I still have not taken the plunge, but I may need my ATM card for that if I do.
I believe the intent is to make any other digital currency essentially illegal, so that people can use only the Federal digital currency. You might still have bitcoin or whatever, but where can you use it?
And if I’m remembering what I was listening to the other day, that’s what the Silvergate bank collapse was about. They were primarily dealing in crypto-currencies & at the ‘suggestion’ of the Feds, decided to wind-down & go out of business. I don’t remember all the details.

I just contacted my state rep here in Arkansas. I urge others to do the same.
Theynwant total control over how and where people spend their money. They want to know every last transaction so that th3y can determine if it was a legal transaction or not. People who,don’t want the gov knowing about their purchases will likely go back to the barter system in order to prevent tracking by ,big brother,

Each of the traitors who had a hand in implementing it must have a serious “accident” as well. Hunting them down and decorating lampposts with them is more satisfying, but after the first few the rest would go into hiding. So “accidents” are the way to go.

The current 12 states are where MAGA patriots actually need to primary a bunch of RINOs in 2024. This is for the simple reason that the states constitutionally prohibited themselves from using anything but gold and silver coin for currency, peacetime paper money and debit cards (I use debit card) unconstitutional imo.

So hopefully more masks of elite political party politicians who haven't read blatantly ignore the Constitution that they swore to protect and defend are going to fall off in time for them to get primaried in 2024 as a consequence of this issue.
In fact, regarding Clause 5 of Section 8 above, note that the drafters of the Constitution wanted only metal coin money because paper money had proven hard to regulate, paper money defeating the fed's power to regulate value of money.

I question if Democrats and RINOs of the very corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties have read the discussions of constitutional lawmakers and are deliberately establishing policies that lawmakers had decided against to purposely try to destroy the constitutional republic.
Patriots, the bottom line is this imo. What is your threshold of “pain” for peacefully stopping unconstitutionally big state and federal governments controlled by bully, constitutionally undefined political parties, from oppressing the people under their boots?

All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.
If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.
If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.
With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.
In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.
Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying RINOs for 2024 elections.

Yeah…no federally chartered bank has digital assets (Bitcoin) on their balance sheet. The banks were acting as the bankers for exchanges.
God, I wish the writers of these articles (and Senators) would take five extra minutes to try to comprehend what is going on.

Since I do not break the law or do embarrassing things in my private life, I do not care what people know about me.
Of course, donating money to Free Republic will probably get me dragged in front of a firing squad some day, but I will deal with that when the threat becomes obvious.
