I will say this again. DeSantis has done some great things but he is picking all of the wrong friends. He is surrounding himself with GOPe surrender-monkeys, anti-MAGA zealots, and taking Club for Growth money. Politics are about coalitions and with the coalition DeSantis is building it will be just more of the same weasels that have been surrendering to the communists for fun and profit for 60 years now. Enough is enough. Trump or nothing.

They tried something similar with Trump at the beginning in 2015, when they played him up, making him look like a good guy - not because they meant it, but instead with the hope he’d stir up the Republican race, into a bloodbath...making it that much easier to defeat Jeb in November 2016.
So feel free to say what you will of my theory, but the media has certainly done similar things in the past and they DEFINITELY want someone to draw some blood from Trump before November, 2024. So if not DeSantis, then who?

I currently have nothing against DeSantis, but I agree with you completely. When the MSM is calling the candidate favored by the Bush clan, Lindsey Graham, Cocaine Mitch, Paul Ryan, and every other low life Republican deep state stooge, a “MAGA Extremist Bully”... They are trying to pull a fast one. That is not farfetched in any way. That is common sense.

Name calling is their only resort since they have no facts or data to back anything up and they couldn’t ‘analyze’ a gnat on their own asses.
I understand your fears, but honestly, Trump had a terrible track record in choosing his “friends”/ staff once elected, and it cost him and us.
I feel that at this point, DeSantis is seeing who is stepping up in regards to supporting him in future. Are some questionable? Maybe, but he is not placing them in his administration.
DeSantis is more of a political animal, but - he has watched and learned from Trump, and knows much better how to work within that world.
I loved how Trump changed the entire political spectrum by recognizing the power of saying what We The People were thinking, and actually Meaning it - but - I think the smiling while they knife you underhanded way the political world works took him completely by surprise. I think he truly believed he could win at least some of them over, but no - they all were determined to undermine the man. What a hellish experience for Trump and Melania.
I do not think that will happen to DeSantis.
