Sen. Chuck Schumer called on Fox News not to air a second night of January 6 surveillance footage after Tucker Carlson showed video of Capitol Police officers escorting “QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley through the Capitol Building. Police have since released a statement saying they were doing their best to “de-escalate” the situation and prevent more rioters from entering the building — meaning they can’t refute what the video clearly shows.
Elon Musk tweeted that “Chansley got four years in prison for a non-violent, police-escorted tour,” but Instagram has appended a note leading readers to “see why fact-checkers say this is false.” Those fact-checkers are Lead Stories, PolitiFact, and AFP. Conclusion? False. “Independent fact-checkers say this information has no basis in fact.” Hello? We’ve seen the video.

Do you see how they the fact checkers word things? "Entire time" They add words to the claim to make their "new statement" technically false, thereby avoiding being proven as misleading.
However if their fact check statements are not accurate to what their checking, then?

I’ve only seen the videos that appear on Facebook from Instagram.
Who checks the fact checkers?

they added the straw man “entire time” to the “fact check”.
they did this to trump constantly, calling his truths lies because of one word they themselves added or took away. Or they come up with some lame “mostly false” excuse even though what Trump said was literally true.

When someone outright LIES to you, never, never trust them again. This is particularly true if they follow up the first lie with another lie. Instagram is never to be trusted.
PolitiFact is to “facts” what Pravda was to “truth.”
I would wonder how that killer Capitol cop got away with that, except he did what Pelosi wanted.

Fact checkers my ass. They are probably government workers - FBI, CIA, etc.

Over the last six months I noticed that Instagram is showing more video of our advanced aircraft and other weapons systems. My kids friend was over and we were looking at some of the Instagram posts of weapons. He is an engineer and said flat out that by showing these videos the Chinese are gathering intelligence.
Musk never claimed that the man did nothing wrong.
I quit looking at FB fourteen years ago due to the annoying Obama love fest. I briefly returned during a family medical crisis because it was the only way I could stay abreast of family news. Then I quit for good seven years ago when all the Trump hate began.
I’ve never looked at iInstagram.
I have never looked at Twitter.
Exceptions: Occasionally, one of my contacts, or someone here on FR, provides a link to something that winds up being one of the above. I will sometimes click the link to see that specific content, and then leave the site immediately. I never stick around to browse or follow any threads.
Most often those sites requires a login to see the linked content, in which case I am blocked anyway, since I don’t have an account. In the case of FB, they never really close your account, but I forgot my FB login credentials a long long time ago.
I used to think FB was a good way to stay in touch with my large extended family, and friends from the past, but really, I hated every minute of it - so much group-think and brainwashed people repeating lame narratives fed to them by the fake news.

Compile ALL availabe video with Jacob Chansley in it, arrange it chronologically, add captions for locations and exact time, but otherwise do not edit the material. This should cover whatever exists from his arrival in DC to his exit.
What Tucker Carlson aired shows Chansley behaving oddly, but not at all violently, and he does nothing that implies an attempt to overthrow the US government. Did he participate in violent rioting, or exhortatios to violence, somewhere else? If so, let’s see it.

The Stoller trial found, by their own admission, that “fact checkers” are under no obligation to tell the truth and are merely stating their opinion.
Fact checking on the WWW goes to the highest bidder. They are all liars.
At some point, the second amendment will finally mean something.
