A newly-elected city commissioner in Florida couldn’t recall the words to the Pledge of Allegiance and had to be helped by the public to kick off her first commission meeting.
Miami City Commissioner Sabina Covo, a Democrat, elected to the commission in a February 27 special election, was asked to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The problem is, she doesn’t know it.

You would think that those meetings would have had the pledge recited and she would have picked it up.
How can you be a DEMOCRAT and claim to "hold the powerful and corrupt accountable"? That would take multiple lifetimes.
Based on her LinkedIn profile, she was born about 1980 moved to the USA from Colombia in 2014 at the age of 34. So she didn't learn the Pledge of Allegiance in Colombia. Based on that and we can cut the young mom some slack...

Obviously not a Republican. At all our meetings we start off with the Pledge of Allegiance. I’m in Texas, but I think Florida Republicans probably do the same.
