If Biden will let a Chinese spy balloon traverse the United States, he probably has no problem leaving the US open to attack.
Imagine that. China must be pleased
Small wars like this are important lessons.
Artillery has been secondary is US doctrine for a long time. We are now learning that it is still essential in the 21st century.
Long run the lessons from Ukraine will be essential for when we next get in a major land war.
It’s part of the plan.
Move cash to bombs and mortars now. This is peak Uncle Joey carnage time!
The was an article posted yesterday here about the lack of machine tools to increase capacity in the industry. When US arms and ammunition manufacturers go to China, hat in hand, to beg for more machine tools, let’s hope Xi doesn’t have to get approval from his new BFF in Moscow.
Time to watch Red Dawn again.
FIFO inventory turnover time. Everything has a shelf life.
Do they have Stormtroopers running those guns or what?
If you consider that there is typically a ‘limit’ on artillery shells fired with each ‘barrel’...has to be some company out there making/marketing them for some replacement in the near future.
I noticed 3 months ago...Russians were having artillery weapon failures...where they’d drastically exceeded their limit. My take then....the Russians didn’t have the capacity to quickly manufacture more.
Do we still have entrenching tools?
“The United States cannot ignore our own national security concerns while sending an endless supply of weapons and ammo to Ukraine.”
I agree. The US needs to increase defense spending to refresh our stocks of weaponry and we also need to realize that the three decades of the Peace Dividend are now at an end.
Russia is on the march and China is angling for war.
If we all truly want to prevent a war then we must prepare for it. Our enemies will never attack us because we’re too strong.
They are probably firing half that and in true slavic fashion, “losing” the rest.
What does $850 billion a year buy you?
A lot of expensive generals, overseeing a huge, bloated, non-military political DC bureaucracy, and lots of very rich contractors - all itching for more wars overseas.
What it doesn’t get you is artillery shells or rockets.
Biden and his friends are setting us up to be invaded.
"Expending" is the new word for "selling them on the black market"...
Better clue ‘Linda’ Graham in. He’s ready to send American troops to Mexico to beat back the cartels that Brandon has green-lighted with our open border!
What a mess...
