Well, technically, Kaliningrad is Russia.
Maybe you missed this info. Ukraine leaving Soledar was predicted a month ago!

Some freepers don't let the facts get in the way of fabulism imported from Poland...
I wouldn’t call what we’re seeing an “asskicking”, at least not yet.
More like stalemates ala WW1 meat grinder.
However tings change with momentum.
The DNC refused to hand over their computers and hired Crowdstrike to determine DNC hack.

Newly declassified evidence casts doubt on Obama intel assessment about Russia’s election intentions -
It looked like since they couldn’t fit “Russia” into Lithuania, they just put the “a” in Kaliningrad.
Ukraine didn’t leave Soledar...they got thrown out and creamed. Just like is happening in Bakhmut. Next week you’ll have to pick another city that will “hold/stop” the Russians, and the Ukraine army will be creamed there too. They got no infantry left to fight unless tens of thousands of well equipt mercenaries come in and help. You are looking like a propaganda fool, and you cannot, or will not read a map

KICK ASS, TAKE NAMES, DEAR FORCES FOR FREEDOM, WESTERN ANTI-COMMUNIST/RUSSIAN IMPERIALIST DEMOCRACY AND LIBERTY
Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for March 6, 2023:
- Russian forces continue the encirclement of Bakhmut;
- Western media admits Russian operations around Bakhmut is exhausting Ukrainian forces and may diminish them ahead of an anticipated Ukrainian spring offensive;
- US announces another military assistance package for Ukraine with fewer items listed and absent of any specific quantities despite previous packages featuring such information;
-Ukraine has urgently asked the West for more artillery shells in particular, highlighting the inability for Western industry to match or exceed Russian military industrial output;
- German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall claims to be considering building a tank factory in Ukraine. Older articles claim only if approved by the German government and after the conflict is over, newer articles suggest the factory may be built sooner;
- Ukrainian pilots are in the US to assess their skills for potential training on US warplanes (likely the F-16);
- Training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s or other Western warplanes will admittedly take years, if F-16s arrive in Ukraine beforehand they will likely be Western operators posing as Ukrainian pilots;
The kill ratio in this war is 12-1 in Russia's favor. Russia has 10-1 edge each day in ammo fired.
While the Ukrainian military is dwindling to a third of its size, Russia has 700,000 troops ready to enter the battlefield.

Feb. 14, 2023
Moscow Times
The once publicity-averse founder of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has for the first time confirmed the widespread belief that he also founded the Internet Research Agency, better known as the network of troll farms used to push Kremlin propaganda narratives around the globe over the past decade.
“I was never just a financier of the Internet Research Agency. I invented it, I created it, I ran it for a long time,” Prigozhin told journalists from Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine.”
The one troll farm or troll factory, as the Internet Research Agency is referred to in the international press, is known to be based in St. Petersburg, but otherwise remains a shadowy organization despite efforts by multiple investigative journalists over the years to expose it to greater scrutiny.

And during WW1, Germany still held parts of France, Netherlands and Belgium when it surrendered so hold territory is not necessary a sign of winning.
I will say that holding Crimea would be a major goal for Putin and the Ukes, at least at this time, have no realistic ability to remove any Russian units from there.
As I have said before, this will boil down to who wants the contested territory more and willing to exchange blood and coin to achieve it.
Been reading stories that the leader of the Wagner group is upset with the quality of munitions promised by Moscow. It could be just grousing to keep first in line for supplies but does cast doubt on Moscow’s ability to supply front line units. Ukraine is doing the same as the Wests ability and or willingness to keep the Ukes war machine fed, supplied and oiled is showing cracks as well.
And talks of fighting with digging tools sounds more of frustration than a viable fighting stratagem.
