First, they ARE actively trying to recruit children, especially young girls.
Second, the puberty blockers and hormone WILL permanently alter a person’s, especially if given at pre-puberty.
Third, the “mental health care” that children are given is almost never to sort out the issues as to why the child believes they are in the wrong body but instead they reinforce the child’s gender dysphoria. often the “mental health professional” signs off on the life and body altering procedure after only a couple of shallow visits. And in some states it is illegal for a mental health professional to give the child REAL mental health care intended to guide them to their biological sex.
Countries in Europe are limiting trans-mutilation “care” kids and insisting kids get mental health evaluations first. I think 2 of the limiting countries are UK and Sweden. Finland and France have some limits. Those countries figure Biden’s our president, so they don’t expect us to make sensible moves right now.
