Ukraine Fatigue Is Not an Option
The Wall Street Journal ^ | Feb. 22, 2023 | Daniel Henninger

This week is the Ukraine war’s first anniversary, but it feels like 10 years, not one. Ukraine “fatigue” is understandable. But let’s try to put the sensation of war fatigue in context.

Vietnam came to be known in the 1960s as the television war, shown on the TV news every night. News programs then lasted a half-hour, with Vietnam usually just a segment. Still, the unsettling daily footage eroded public support for the war.

Today, with all media on all the time, we are saturated with Ukraine’s war, as we are with mass murders, weather disasters or a train derailment. The sense of feeling worn down by events has become the natural order of things. I had Super Bowl fatigue before the opening kickoff.

In recent months, the argument over Ukraine has been about its importance for the U.S. Is this really “our” war? It is almost eerie that an answer to that legitimate question is emerging almost at the moment of the war’s first anniversary.

It has become clear in the past several weeks that the tectonic plates of global power are shifting. The autocratic alliance of China, Russia and Iran is signaling it’s no longer content to accept an indefinite standoff of competing ideologies and commercial interests as the status quo. They have decided to make Ukraine a singular test, which they believe the U.S., Europe and Asia’s democracies will fail.

This is based on one arrangement by H. Biden, among a large number of other bits of business he was engaged in in several other countries.

To say that such a grandiose conclusion has such a tenuous support... well, it’s rather like blaming global warming on CO2, a trace gas.

It took me many, many hours to document a fragment of the the evidence presented by Ukrainian investigators against Biden, Burisma, the State Department etc.  I mean, everything the US does in the Ukraine is illicit. Even 'IT' funds given to the Ukraine were laundered. Please read parts 1 through 4 on the work of the Ukrainian investigators documenting Biden crime family fraud and theft.

Where have you been that you don't know this? Covering up the crimes? Just curious.

The UKRAINE PROJECT is revealing itself to be a WAR FOR MONEY and nothing more. Not a thing less grubby than that is involved other than Europeans, by the tens of thousands, being ground up in the meat grinders to satisfy the war profiteers and associated grifters.

Actually Zelensky was elected primarily on a PEACE PLATFORM.

That’s true for most armed conflicts, including the ones we barely pay attention to. Nobody to to like among the warmongers on any side, yet the regular people suffer, die, have to flee their homes.

Trouble is, Biden and Co. have made this into a war where there’s no room to negotiate or either side to back down, as I lamented here:

Ukraine and Chinese companies gave Hunter Biden money to buy influence from his VP dad.

All the ranting that goes on here about Ukraine never discusses its actual strategic position in Europe, or its considerable natural resources, which is why Russia wants it.

Those are the considerations for our national security, not blathering about homos, WEF and money laundering

Biden didn’t even want to defend Ukraine, which illustrates how reality has been turned on its head by the Ukraine haters.

There's tons, not ounces, of evidence that the Ukraine serves as the 'money laundering operation for the deep state.'

It's not just Joe Biden, but it's also his brother, and his son serving as mules in the Ukraine. And it's not just the Biden crime family, it's also Nancy's son, Schumer's son etc. Mitt Romney, too. I think it's his daughter(s). We have the DNC drawing their lifeblood out of American tax payer funds 'washed' in the Ukraine. The FTX pointed to the DNC and election interference so squarly it was 'microwaved' from the MSM sphere. Biden and his family and the DNC rely on the Ukraine for their maintenance. Cut off their funds - they don't need to live off the American tax payers any longer. Make them get jobs that pay minimum wage, not Hunter's $70K per month 'job' with Burisma.

You have documented one arrangement Biden had with Burisima, which, BTW, was a Russian controlled entity at the time.

You did not document other arrangements Biden had with the Chinese, the Russians (directly), or who knows who else. Biden had his son and his brother (why does everyone forget his brother?) out peddling influence anywhere they could.

And coming back around, this one case does not prove your assertion about the supposed importance of Ukraine vis-a-vis general US political corruption.

Fatigue?

People are realizing our policies are totally insane, and that is... fatigue?

I don’t think that’s the right word

The knee-jerk premise is that 20 years of meddling in, and now supporting Ukraine as a proxy against Russia, is a strategic necessity for the United States

It is not. Its another neocon mistake, which will cause disaster

Its an unnecessary war against the wrong opponent
It is destroying EU’s economy
It will split NATO
It risks unnecessary expansion of war
It is forcing BRICS nations to choose against us
Above all, it aids China in its rise and will ultimately diminish us in the Pacific

” Biden and his family and the DNC rely on the Ukraine for their maintenance”

This is stupendously silly.

What did Biden and his family and the DNC (which is just a stupid facade) depend on before Ukraine was controversial? Why are all the politicians way richer when they leave office than when they enter it?

Three letters - NYC. This is where nearly all the money is.

Ukraine or Russia or Saudi Arabia or Germany (Bertelsman gave Obama $60 million) or Qatar (paid off Al Gore, in great style, $500 million!) or Cyprus (now thats a real money-laundering hub) or even China, are bit players.

Read the post I made - all four parts of the Ukrainian investigator’s work. Don’t pretend there isn’t rampant evidence of crime there. Don’t just change the subject to other countries - the topic is Biden/DNC crime headquartered in the Ukraine. Burisma was no joke. Joe Biden bragging about withholding foreign aid unless the prosecutor was fired - the Ukraine is the Biden/DNC’s back yard and they do as they please, and they send our money there, hand over fist, no accountability.

You didn’t read the posts. They document the abuses of US ‘foreign aid’ by Biden, Hunter, the State Department, and just about anyone from the US interacting with anyone from the Ukraine. You won’t look at the evidence, you point elsewhere.

Sorry Williams, the Ukraine War will end soon and not to the dictates of America, the West and NATO. American leftists are nothing but wreckers that profit off of disasters and shakedowns and they picked the wrong marks with the Russians. Europe's economies are imploding and they're declining to ship more armaments to Saint Zelensky is telling. We hear all about the impossibility of NATO members to increase military production yet it is a lie, it isn't that hard to do, these are industrialized countries. What the Europeans are trying to do is slow down their walk to world war.

I really do look forward to telling you all about it as it occurs. Sorry if I ruined your wargasm.

Rampant evidence of A crime.

One crime, among how many others?
Even among just the Bidens?

There are banks being robbed up and down the street, and you have caught a pickpocket. Among a bunch of other picockets. And then you say that this particular pickpocket is Dr. Moriarty.

FALSE! Are you just pretending you can read, hear or understand?

The Ukrainian investigators documented countless crimes, but you won't read their work and you'll just keep lying and saying 'one crime'.

There are banks being robbed up and down the street, and you have caught a pickpocket.

That's sick and false. Biden is working to start WWIII. Here's President Trump's comment about Biden's involvement in the current 'Ukrainian crisis".

  >>>>> President Trump POSTS on Truth Social. <<<<<

"If you watch and understand the moves being made by Biden on Ukraine, he is systematically, but perhaps unknowingly, pushing us into what could soon be WORLD WAR III. How crazy is that?"

Among a bunch of other picockets. And then you say that this particular pickpocket is Dr. Moriarty.

The puppet known as Brandon is fighting to start WWIII while giving 200 Billion of our tax dollars to our enemies, with zero accountability, to be redistributed by the deep state. Biden is a puppet of the Deep State and they want WWIII and that's NOTHING like what you dismiss as a pick pocket. Brandon is draining the US of weapons and money and that's FINE with you because there are other 'pick pockets'?!

True, he ran on a peace ticket and won over 70% of the vote. When he went to Zolote after he took office to try to get AZOV to implement the ceasefire agreement, they spanked him but good. It’s painful to watch:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i4NpPh8af9A

Zelensky: “I am the president of this country. I’m 41 years old. I’m not some loser. I have come to you and told you to remove the weapons.”

AZOV: Hahaha! Bwahaha!

Well, fat lot of good that did. AZOV went right back to their old tricks. The curious thing is that Zelensky was wholly owned by Kolomoisky, and AZOV was mostly owned by Kolomoisky. So was that kabuki theater, and Zelensky lied when he campaigned on a peace ticket? Or did Kolomoisky remind him who his Daddy was there?

Whatever, AZOV escalated their attacks afterward. Zelensky’s approval rating plummeted from over 70% to around 20% shortly before the invasion (not entirely due to his failure to implement the peace plan* he said he was in favor of — there were also those embarrassing Pandora Papers).

The great majority of the people wanted and voted for peace. They sure didn’t get it.

Latin America refuses to back West in Ukraine War

“Latin America has largely refused to back Ukraine and the West in their ongoing war with Russia. In recent weeks, America has offered compelling deals to Latin American nations like Argentina, Brazil and Colombia in order to convince them to send weapons to Ukraine. Their sharp refusals highlight the continent’s strong fierce independence.”

Ukraine war ‘over’ unless EU boosts military support, says top diplomat

Foreign affairs chief tells Munich security conference provision of ammunition has to be solved quickly.

The war with Ukraine will be over unless the EU finds a way in weeks to speed up the provision of ammunition to Ukraine, Josep Borrell, the EU foreign affairs chief, warned on the final day of the Munich security conference.

... adding it is taking up to 10 months for European armies to order and receive a single bullet.
