Mostly what we hear from the mainstream corporate media about the Ukraine War is that Russia simply must be defeated, even if it means sacrificing the lives of every last man, woman and child in Ukraine. But few of the pundits, politicians and think tankers promoting this program have much of an idea about whether this outcome is remotely possible.

The Nuland call being leaked, the Color Revolution in Ukraine, and news outlets reporting on the Obama administration supporting a coup in Ukraine [against a sovereign country] might cause some people to think if some in the U.S. don’t like an election they’ll just support a coup, so what did Russia think if they also think the US has influences other elections meddled, been behind coups, or think meddling took place in the 2020 elections? Did they think back in 2014 they were next? Do they think Obama, Biden, Bush, whomever, really believe in “sovereignty”?
Some argue that eastern Europeans have been desperate to get in to NATO, but they don’t answer if NATO took advantage of them, don’t answer should NATO have done this, nor answer what I believe is George HW Bush saying that NATO had no intention of honoring not moving east towards Russia when James Baker and others were meeting with their Russian counterparts during Berlin reunification talks.
Pointing these things out is followed by neocons/neolibs immediately attacking, deflecting to take attention off of the Obama and Biden administratiins, and calling you a Putin supporter without laying out how. Seems like more Russia! Russia! Russia!, Mueller Russian investigation, Steele Dossier, etc, attacks.
It’s obvious with the Obama/Biden admn starting at least 4 new interventionist wars, getting NATO to attack Libya, going against its defensive charter, attacking Libya though it didn’t attack a NATO member. This is typical establishment neoliberal behavior (which actions in Syria by Obama could also be seen as) and wouldn’t attacks like these cause mistrust among the nations?
And Bush administration, Project for a New American Century, is establishment neocon policy.

When have we ever applied that kind of tone to any country fighting for its survival? We haven’t.
It’s not a moral appeal, it’s propaganda. Very few countries if any have EVER lost their entire population in the history of the world.
And millions of Ukrainians already are refugees in other countries.
This nonsense about not caring how many men women and children die sounds more like the Peacemaker script.
The country was attacked. They are fighting valiantly otherwise they would have lost long ago. That’s the choice any society has the right to make.

If Russia ideed wins, would they pull their troops back into Russia in exchange for NATO being reversed back to its original charter nations?

I pray for peace for all of the innocent people whose lives and livelihoods have been upended and for those who have suffered devastating losses of their loved ones and their homes.
The billions Biden is pouring into the laundromat are not going to those people. Those dollars are being stolen from us, the taxpayers and are lining the pockets of a bunch of global crooks.
I pray that peace is negotiated very soon.
