Sunday Talks, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moraweicki Discusses State of NATO With Ukraine and Upcoming Biden Visit

With a visit by Joe Biden coming up next week, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki discusses the status of the ongoing Ukraine conflict with Russia and the expectation of this being a long NATO supported fight.

Poland is in a weird place with their internal politics. Domestically, their population is not in alignment with the leftist, globalist approach. However, for the past two years -especially since the Russia/Ukraine conflict began – they appear to be walking a tightrope with U.S. policy, leaning favorably to the Biden administration.

It appears Poland is like many EU countries in the leadership disconnect from the mindset of the underlying population that grants them power, with NATO representing the corrupting influence in the disconnect. Then again, the same could be said for almost the entire western system of government, including the United States.

Interesting dynamic to watch:

While in Kiev yesterday Biden said he would announce additional sanctions on Russia and Russians. Of interest, I came upon this excerpt from another site:

“..Refusing to join NATO sanctions against Russia, and maintaining a strict principle of neutrality as it has done since the Cold War era, Modi has taken advantage of availability of Russian crude oil that the US and EU now refuse. Russia is now the biggest supplier of crude oil to India overtaking Iraq and Saudi Arabia. In December, India bought 1.2 million barrels of crude from Russia every day – a whopping 33 times more than a year earlier. Ironically, some of that Russian oil is being refined in India and re-exported to the EU, which just banned Russian oil. According to energy analysts, “India is buying record amounts of severely discounted Russian crude, running its refiners above nameplate capacity, and capturing the economic rent of sky-high crack spreads and exporting gasoline and diesel to Europe.” [iv]

Before the start of the Ukraine war, India bought only 1 percent of Russia’s crude. That figure went up to 28 percent in January. No other country has increased its consumption of Russian oil as much, not even China, which has also significantly increased its buying of Russian oil. If we add imports of Russian fertilizers and sunflower oil and other products, India’s imports from Russia climbed more than 400% in eight months to November from a year earlier....”

“It appears Poland is like many EU countries in the leadership disconnect from the mindset of the underlying population that grants them power...”

Anyone who thinks the average Polish voter has an ounce of sympathy for the Russians invading their former conquests is completely delusional.

It’s not interesting to me. If it were between India and Pakistan it might be a little frightening, but it’s between the WEF and Russia, with America being the greatest force and instigator and protagonist and therefore TARGET.

PUTIN IS NOT HITLER. That is nothing but Deep State, WEF, NWO, bullshit propaganda. If Americans where to understand that WE were determined at all cost to force a direct war with Russia, and understand what that will look like, half our government would be in internment camps.

The countries of the EU laughed and mocked President Trump. Diaper Man they fall in line like lambs to the slaughter. Go figure.

You have to have just about complete ignorance of Poland to say this. Opposing Russia as aggressively as possible has very broad, multiparty support. The few times the PiS government has appeared to hesitate about confronting Russia they've been pilloried by the opposition.

No one "forced" Russia into war: it was the repeated weakness of the West, especially after the 2014 Russian invasion that encouraged Putin to attack again, especially the erection of Biden and the re-installation of the Obama foreign policy weaklings.

Putin would have never dared to invade last year if Trump were still in office.

It’s not that you don’t know very much, it’s that so much of what you know just isn’t so.

I've been to Ukraine and I have family in Poland and have lived there on and off short term for the past 25 years.

But I supposedly don't know anything.

There are an amazing number of people in the US on the left and right congratulating themselves on being members of the cognitive elite who know the "real truth" about everything. It's like every conservative website is now ZeroHedge.

Buy gold, Dogbert!

What are you going to do with gold? Ammo and food would be so much better. There’s coming a time when gold and silver will be thrown into the streets as useless.

19
They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the LORD’s wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin. Ezekiel 7:19
