Thanks for that testimony. In the mouth of two or three witnesses let a thing be established.
I understand it started after a chapel sermon on the gospel of John.
Not to take away from your points, a live stream actually pops up every now and then. Here’s the current one:

Mat 24:23 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it.
Mat 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
Read the above slowly and let your lips move. Think about it. If left to their own ability, Gods chosen would follow false prophets! THEY LOOK THAT GOOD. The ONLY, ONLY thing that stops them from doing so is God.
So how should you test the situation? “I understand (heard)” may not be good enough.
What does God say on the matter?
Should be the first thought in our minds.
Many worldly observations here and indirect references to God. It looks good from our point of view.
Now, how do you know what God says on the matter?
Yes, the Holy Spirit is alive and active. He does speak. But if the Holy Spirit is not pointing to Jesus (the word, not the personality) it is NOT the Holy Spirit.
Get your Bibles out and test my statement.
A hunger for God’s Word is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
God is in this, no doubt. Any time his name is used, it is a good thing.
But, ears to hear and eyes to see. Both are a gift from God. These require the Holy Spirit AND God’s Word. One without the other doesn’t work.
Wow, these pictures touch my heart. I feel the love and grace of the Holy Spirit coming right through these pictures. One of the leaders was crying. Now I see why maybe just a little bit.
The Holy Spirit which ONLY glorifies Jesus witnesses with my spirit (and many others’) that this is a true work of the Holy Spirit going on here.
But there will always be naysayers.
Jesus being glorified is the single most important factor about whether something is of God. It seems clear to me that Jesus is being glorified here. The Nazis never glorified Jesus and those that did weren’t Nazis for very long afterwards.
Agree. Thank you for the ping!
Actually Asbury is now quite hip with great restaurants but also very very gay - not exactly what Asbury had in mind for society but it isn’t the “hood” (apart from the section west of the tracks near Neptune) that it was years ago.
Yes you’re right. Asbury has had a revival over the years. My late mother and father had a home in neighboring Ocean Grove which Francis Asbury originally established as a Methodist retreat. My parents were probably the only Catholics in the town.
The gays discovered Ocean Grove in the ‘80’s.
Have to say they fixed a lot of the place up.
You rarely ever seen poor gays. They always seem to have money.
Yeah for those in Rio Linda, Asbury University has nothing to do with Springslime's hometown of Asbury Park, NJ.
Asbury University is in Wilmore, KY, Jessamine County, just south of Lexington. Jessamine County is hard-core MAGA Country.
Those scriptures don’t relate. We’re talking about a solid small Christian college chapel service.
I perceive that you will be negative no matter what, so understand that it’s its own reward.
I perceive that you will be negative no matter what, so understand that it’s its own reward.
I already did. Evidently, you aren’t satisfied because I didn’t arrive at some conclusion that you like.
Jesus being glorified is the single most important factor about whether something is of God.
How do you know?
Satan can fool even God’s elect but for God, Satan is that good.
Now, there is no doubt God is at work here. There is a remnant , always a remnant and usually just a remnant.
I am just trying to get you to think about the basis for your judgement. NOtice what people report, read closely. What should we see? What should be reported back?
Many people worship the idea of Jesus, they like that. But how many get a true hunger for the Word?
Well this can be said for it, they have rejected the Kenneth Copeland fraud types who have tried o endorse it.
