Let this be a reminder to the corporations who think pandering to leftism is good for business. At least 1/2 of the country does not find wokism cool.

I would like to believe it was a case of “go woke and go broke.” But I think it came from other places as most people are not aware of political controversies like this or do not care or are a part of the problem. But, every time a company like this goes broke it is still gratifying to see.

The great thing about cases like this is that, for the most part, people on the Right don’t announce a boycott and organize and hype it, we just stop shopping there.

BBB was in financial trouble long before the axed the MyPillow.
Correct. Liniensand Things suffered a similar fate before "MyPillow" was a thing.

BBB was in financial trouble long before the axed the MyPillow. So who was the genius on the board of directors who thought banning MyPillow was the road to recovery?

Bed Bath Beyond was in financial trouble before banning MY PILLOW.
The executives could have chosen to be MY PILLOW heroes by advertising that they were NOT going to ban MY PILLOW when the big box stores, Walmart, Costco, Target banned MY PILLOW.
Instead, BBY went the WOKE route and followed in lock step with the other big box stores.

Was it entirely because of MyPillow?
No.
Did that contribute?
Yes.
I never would have bought a MyPillow from BB&B, I buy from his website. But I do buy other things there. Once they threw out MyPillow it meant, to me, that they do not want my business.
So I do not shop there, I do not buy gift cards for friends of mine to shop there.
If even ten percent of their customers reacted the way I did it is a huge hit.

Not that i am a huge fan of My Pillow products, i am NOT a fan of woke-ism. My 500-600 $ annual purchases of stuff, for weddings mostly, stopped cold several years ago. Multiply that times a hundred, or a thousand, and soon you’re talking real money gone from your bottom line. BB&B created its own recession before there was a recession.
Zero GAFs.
Cue Nelson’s laugh.

I have the same approach as you. I buy the MyPillow products from their website but did go to BB&B for things like kitchen gadgets and shampoo products, etc.
Never stepped foot in one again after they banned My Pillow and never will.

I know I didn’t step into a Bed, Bath and Beyond after they decided to stop carrying MyPillow merchandise.

Lindell’s company is growing. He’s increasing his high quality items. Made in USA I'm hoping he sells Body Wash in the near future especially since he WON'T be facing competition from BB&B in that category.

I really hope Jo-Ann's Fabrics stays out of politics.
I do not understand why a company would get involved in politics aside from paying baksheesh to who ever you have to for them to leave you alone. There is no up side.
