Yes, and the guy who supposedly offered the job, said it was a joke. Which makes sense, while offering that position to Vidman, a lowly colonel makes no sense. There are almost 9,000 active Lieutenant Colonels in the US army.

Coo. Vindman was Ukrainian born, and as an Army officer at the National Security Council, had been inserted into the room when and where President Trump has the call with Zelensky. After the call the Ukrainian weasel Vindman went to Rep. Adam Schiff and we got our first impeachment effort against President Trump. Agree, what Vidman did was wrong(ignored his chain of command) and detestable. Doesn't change the fact that offering Vidman the position of defense minister was NOT a serious job offer to a lowly colonel.

Look you can have your own opinions, but Zelensky's words at a a joint news conference with Trump on Sept. 25, 2019 in New York were “Nobody pushed me.”

Zelensky has publicly stated he did not feel pressured by Trump during the call and insisted there was "no blackmail." Republicans such as Reps. Jim Jordan and John Ratcliffe have leaned heavily on this as they've sought to defend the president against damning allegations in the impeachment inquiry.
