Crime rates are soaring all over the nation, and this is especially true in heavily populated urban areas. The complete and utter lawlessness that we are witnessing has caused many pundits to describe our largest cities as “war zones”, and unfortunately that is not an exaggeration at all. In fact, there are some zip codes in Chicago where young adult males are more likely to be shot and killed than U.S. soldiers were during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq…
For some residents, Chicago is more dangerous than Afghanistan was for U.S. troops during the Iraq war, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medicine Association.
The study found that young men are more likely to be shot and killed in ZIP codes with the most violence than American soldiers were in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Yes, things really have gotten that bad.

That’s why the Remington always has fresh buckshot and the Smith has a round in the chamber.
I have witnessed one murder, one attempted murder and live only a couple of yards from where a policeman had to kill someone in self defense.
I don’t like that I feel the need to carry to go to the grocery store, but I still do it. Things will get worse before they get better, especially in the cities.
people don’t think diversity be like it is but it do
You two have the same FReepday.
There are many places these days in inner cities where you better not dare go to at night if you’re white. But the truth is, it’s twice as dangerous for you in those same areas if you’re black or brown.
What should that tell people and why aren’t we doing a damn thing about it?
Albuquerque has a district that was (and still is) called The War Zone. It’s now officially called The International District. Lipstick/pig.
blue areas gotta blue
and they will keep voting dem
“I have witnessed one murder, one attempted murder and live only a couple of yards from where a policeman had to kill someone in self defense.”
Well, I never have. Closest I know of was about 2 miles.
“I don’t like that I feel the need to carry to go to the grocery store, but I still do it. Things will get worse before they get better, especially in the cities.”

Thankfully, we live in a red conservative state and we carry everywhere. No one has ever questioned us and as I scan the people in stores, I see the familiar gun holster print beneath the long and loose shirt many wear when shopping. Once you know what to look for, it is very obvious. I live in a very rural area on several acres, but my pistol is within reach even as I type.
“and they will keep voting dem”
____
Many will and many more will vote Dem whether they intended to or not. I’ve seen more and more reports of democrats switching to republican, but I know not whether that is to appease the upset voters, or because they realize that their party has truly abandoned them on the issues with which they are most concerned.

Any city in the US will be the wrong place to be a day after the Rapture disappearance of multiple millions who support the infrastructure and will not be around to help clear the debris on streets and highways and shopping areas. In 2020 their were more than 900,000 active eighteen whelers on the roads, that’s just the eighteen wheelers. If ten percent then were Christians. I wonder, how many tens of thousands more of those big rigs will suddenly be without drivers yet still rolling?

Yep.
I was down on Central across from UNM today (the lady that’s cut my hair for 30 years works in a funky little salon near the Frontier) and looking out the window is like a post apocalyptic zombie movie with plenty of student weirdos thrown in.
You obviously do not live in Mogadishu on the Mississippi.

I just moved to rural NW Tennessee, and finally feel within my tolerance levels for personal safety. The people here are just so very nice. Just about everyone I saw this week was a Mennonite (and to them I say .. “I finally get it”).
i try to make it a point that whenever there’s a story involving the degeneracy of the country or out right lawlessness, it’s almost always a blue district.
democrats are the enemy within and i dare anyone to prove me wrong
I hope you are using 12 gauge 00 shot. “Git er done!”
