I didn't have the heart to tell her that the cancer could have possibly been a side effect of the shots. I always thought she was smart, but my niece told me her mother had been watching "The View" regularly, which explains her inability to think for herself. Because of other health issues, she's been living with my niece and her family since before Christmas. Since my niece's husband doesn't go to work until later in the day, he makes sure he's watching something else in on the TV when "The View" is on.
