Fears antisemitic tropes are being spread after host Neil Oliver discusses plan to impose ‘one-world government’
The UK’s leading Jewish organisation and a group of MPs have called on GB News and the media regulator Ofcom to tackle the broadcaster’s indulgence of conspiracy theories, warning that some recent segments and guests risked spreading ideas linked to antisemitism.
The criticism comes as the channel faces increasing scrutiny over its mix of serious news with programmes that delve heavily into conspiracies about areas including Covid vaccines and a plot to create a world government.
The decision by the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the all-party parliamentary group against antisemitism to speak out follows a recent edition of the weekly GB News show hosted by Neil Oliver, the broadcaster and historian.
Oliver, who delivers trademark monologues to camera, used the show last Saturday to discuss what he called a “silent war” by generations of politicians to take “total control of the people” and impose a “one-world government”.

I am a conspiracy realist. So is Neil Oliver, from what I can tell.
It’s amazing how membership in a particular in-group insulates you from any criticism.
They’ve gotten rid of Steyn now they are going after Oliver. If you read further down the article one of the persons behind all this is a conservative MP. The conservative party in the UK is a joke... the institutional party are ‘remainers’ and woke WEF stooges. There are a large group of BREXITers who are the UK equivalent of MAGA but they hold no institutional power and as you can see from this article are derided as ‘conspiracy theorists’ and spreaders of misinformation.

I heard that Freemasons, the Jesuits, the Trilateral Commission and the World Economic Forum also have called for Oliver to stop talking about conspiracies to form a One World Government.
Steyn has left GB for the same reason Oliver is being attacked. GB is caving to the same groups.
Steyn got that fake vax to work at GB. He has has 2 heart attacks after the fake vaxes and has openly said the fake vaxes caused it.
First of all, MOST unfortunately, most conspiracy theories for the past few hundred years have been anti-Jewish. This does not, however, make conspiracy theory inherently anti-Jewish. That's just stupid.
Second, ever notice that these anti-Semitic tropes never reach back to pre-Xian times? It's as if Judaism didn't exist until it "apostatized" by rejecting Xianity. All the ancient Israelites are posthumously declared Xians and the Hebrew Bible is declared the root of all Xian ee-vil. Most people seem to think that the Jews didn't become "the Jews" until Lenny Bruce started telling dirty jokes.
Third, where is Israel in all this? Despite all the recent flurry of concerns over anti-Semitism, Israel is still lambasted by the Left and by the Establishment (but I repeat myself), especially since the last election there. Of course, anti-Semites will never admit that Israel continues to be politically incorrect, since they dogmatically insist that the Israelis are running the whole thing!
And finally, just what do people mean by a "one world religion" and a "one world government?" Everyone who believes there is one single true religion for all people by definition believes in a "one world religion!" And everyone who believes in a Messianic Kingdom at the end of history believes in a "one world government." It isn't the "one world" that is inherently wrong but rather the idea of a false and evil one world government and one world religion, which most people believe must precede G-d's one world government and one world religion.
If they Left is so worried about anti-Semitism at this time, let them clean up the college campuses they run!
Freedom of speech and the media have become so eroded.
The worst is that the majority are accepting, most especially the up and coming generations.
