A recurring nightmare about the next 2 years
WND ^ | February 6, 2023 | Joseph Farah

Suppose China decides to start a war with Taiwan – in the next two years.

It's entirely possible, if not likely.

Our military is not prepared to assist our ally Taiwan. Joe Biden is president. He has us escalating the war in Ukraine to nuclear proportions. He's in the tank for China and wouldn't be inclined to do a thing about it. Even if he did, he would botch the job or have a nervous breakdown or worse. No one else in the Democratic Party, especially Kamala Harris, is not even an option.

In the Nineties when Joe Farah started WND, his site was a regular early-morning go-to for me. There are now so many more good sites that catch my attention that my visits to WND are less frequent. Of course, Joe has moved on to retirement now but this commentary perfectly puts forth my thoughts on the current political environment.

This is CCP-China’s chance to attack Tiawan, and probably get it back, ort at least under control. With demonKKKrats in-charge here, it’s a rare opportunity. I’m just surprised that they haven’t done it in the past 2 years.

I don’t think the Chinese are stupid. I do believe they are evil.

If they don’t take advantage of the opportunity presented by the incompetent and compromised clod in the White House within the next couple of years, I’d be shocked.

What if China ignored Taiwan and sent hundreds or thousands of balloons into the skies over our military bases and cities (this recent balloon was maneuverable BTW) and released deadly toxins.

What would our president do...other than have a cone of rocky road and a good long nap.

The Rats (especially the wealthy Golden Calf money changers) want nuclear war. How else to trim down the worlds population? They tried COVID and failed. Fentanyl is taking out only a small subsection of the population. The GloboHomo’s want to exterminate 95% of the human race. So nuclear war it will be.

He would follow the orders of the ones that installed him…the deep state overlords.

Absolutely.

I wonder what their orders would be?

Pessimistic, but accurate. Not confident either that there will ever be another fair election in our future.

I really do not see what the CCP gains by attacking Taiwan.
On the other hand, attacking Siberia/Russia is much more beneficial. Not to mention the Chinese have the land army to do it. Whereas their navy sucks.

China invades Taiwan, Russia invades Eastern Europe, North Korea invades South Korea, Iran blocks the strait of Hormuz, and Latin America catches fire. And Japan becomes a missile punching bag as China, Russia, and North Korea rain missiles down upon it.

Mainland China/the CCP won't make a kinetic invasion. The downside risk of failure is too great. The CCP would collapse.

The CCP will just suffocate Taiwan like a big Hong Kong and take over by degrees. They will use a soft blockade, and increase trade friction. Not a kinetic "D-Day" landing. IMHO.

What makes you think that any President since 1973 would have opposed a takeover of Taiwan with American blood?

I don't believe it for a second.

Not until candidates are literally afraid to win by fraud.

Reagan might have. Trump might have.
Key word is “might”...

I agree. Why would China feel there is a time restriction on making a move if they can watch the USA implode. If the article articulates anything it’s that the elections are irreparably broken and the title is misleading. The nightmare won’t end in two years.

The US keeps getting involved in wars, drawn in by the 5% of the native population who keep spinning the “our people are just like Americans” lie.

I imagine on Taiwan the resistant population to reunification with China is bigger, maybe 30%, wit half that willing to shed their own blood.

But, like most of the world, tribe and clan are much more important than some Enlightenment nonsense. Even on Taiwan, many people can see how Western societies are being wrecked by the ideology we wished they wanted.

At the end of the day, especially among the young, being part of a Han superpower is much more important than some Jefferson/Madison Lo Fan nonsense.

Taiwan will fall, when the time comes, without a shot being fired.

“Suppose China decides to start a war with Taiwan – in the next two years.”

After witnessing the events over the last three days, China would have an easier time attacking the US rather than Taiwan.
