It’s called open primaries. Dims flock to the polls in the primaries to vote for the weakest Republican, hoping for the Dim to win in the general; or if the Republican wins, he or she will be so weak and wishy-washy that it’s the next best thing to having a Dim in that seat.

My apologies. I am in Mace’s district (SC 1). SC 1 is a purple district. She’s imitating Graham’s penchant for straddling the party line. She’s a big disappointment to us pro Trump voters. We tried to get her out in the primary but failed. To think I fled Rosa DeLauro (Ct 3) to Nancy Mace. Depressing.
