It’s called open primaries. Dims flock to the polls in the primaries to vote for the weakest Republican, hoping for the Dim to win in the general; or if the Republican wins, he or she will be so weak and wishy-washy that it’s the next best thing to having a Dim in that seat.
And this is how the Uniparty stays in power. RINOs are fine and dandy with with open primaries. The RINO wins the Republican primary, and if the Democrat happens to win the general, well, to the RINOs, that's better than MAGA winning.
Really sad. I love visiting SC and always bummed about thier reps. Didn’t know about the open primary. Stopped watching Steve Hilton because of Mace
