desantis released a statement last week instructing people not to donate money to any organization that claims he’s running for president in 2024.

I think that was because there were some fake Desantis fundraising emails that went out purporting to be from the Trump organization. The Trump people denied it, but I’m sure the Desantis people don’t want people to fall for the scam, no matter who is behind it.
