Former President Donald Trump did not hold back when asked about the possibility of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis running for the White House in 2024.
Trump, who is the only Republican to announce a campaign, said that it would be a “great act of disloyalty” if the governor challenges him.
Trump held campaign events in New Hampshire and South Carolina on Saturday and sat down with the Associated Press for an interview afterward.
The outlet pointed out that there are a growing number of potential challengers, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.
Trump commented on DeSantis specifically, taking credit for his win in Florida in 2018 by endorsing him.
“If he runs, that’s fine. I’m way up in the polls,” Trump said. “He’s going to have to do what he wants to do, but he may run. I do think it would be a great act of disloyalty because, you know, I got him in. He had no chance. His political life was over.”

The gas lighting...Trump has said DeSantis will run if he wants to but it would be disloyal.
The chorus turns that in to Trump thinks he should be coronated.
DeSantis has gotten into bed with the uniparty and corporate players. He has squandered his chance to be a voice for Americans because his actions will be shaped by those donors.
Further, in politics, as in life when someone steps up & pulls your bacon out of the fire you have some level of gratitude & respect, it’s a measure of your character. Taking gelt to make moves against the person that came to your aid makes a statement about your personal integrity.
If we don’t pull with the only person who is committed to American greatness and will stand against all who want to use her & the American people America will “go quietly into that dark night”.
People who fail to differentiate that from a putative personality cult so as to burnish a poise of independence are helping the left gaslight Americans.

The world is ever changing and FR will change as various
people join with differing opinions. As it should be, imo.
IMO the upcoming election is one that is designed to place
a female into the Presidency. We’ll see but I think that is
long term goal.
I happen to agree. I said something mildly critical of Trump for the first time ever and some posters absolutely freak out. They seem to think they’re helping their cause somehow by being jerks.
You need professional help. Leave me alone.

There doesn’t need to be anything gained by saying the truth except giving people the context they need to see behind the curtain.
It is actually and easy process if Biden/Harris can be
reelected. Or it could happen this time but I think they
want Biden on the ballot for re-election. jmo
