A Google employee said he and his wife were both laid off by the tech giant in Friday's mass cull.
Ashish Kalsi wrote on LinkedIn that they stared at each other in "disbelief" that morning as their daughter slept.
Kalsi said he's on an H-1B visa and has a 60-day "countdown" to find a new role or leave the US.

Ashish Kalsi, an associate principal of global engagement on Google's trust and safety team, wrote in a LinkedIn post Wednesday that he and his wife woke up on Friday to find they were both part of the company's cull of around 12,000 jobs.

Musk is now successfully running titter with something like 100 “engineers”. If anybody still bench marks that should set a new low mark for how few it really takes to maintain a platform after the coding is finished.
Rightfully this should send shock waves of layoffs through the industry.
