“German company wants to equip Leopard tanks for Ukraine with a lot of ammunition”
“The armaments group Rheinmetall is ready to supply large quantities of ammunition for the Leopard tanks that Germany and other countries will send to Ukraine, Tagesschau reports.
“Rheinmetall is prepared and has significantly increased its ammunition capacities – and especially in the large caliber sector – as a precautionary measure,” the Düsseldorf-based company explained to the “Rheinische Post” newspaper. “We have invested heavily in this and will continue to do so by building new production facilities and recruiting additional staff. We are doing everything we can to support Ukraine, NATO and the German government, including with the ammunition they need.”
With the increased capacities, the group is able to cover a foreseeable increase in demand from the Bundeswehr and the armed forces of other “Leopard” user states.“

France’s aid to Ukraine is an embarrassment.
For all the grief Germany receives, Germany is in the top 2-4 countries in military aid (depending on different graph). Between $1-4 Billion.
France doesn’t make the top 10. Below Sweden and Latvia.
“All storage models in US have classified armor.”
There were reports that Abrams for Ukraine wouldn’t come from US inventories. But from the ‘manufacturer’. Whatever that means.
Administration hasn’t really clarified how its going to happen.
You are on fire with comments to yourself and your other handle PIF. The screetching gets louder as the Ukraine gets ground down.
It is also getting into the low 20°’s at night as the poor Ukrainian people sit in the dark without electricity.
“’‘We will get F-16s’: Ukraine aims for NATO’s fighter jets after winning battle for Western tanks”
“The dust has barely settled on the decision by the U.S. and Germany to supply battle tanks to Ukraine, but talk has already turned to the possible use of other firepower, namely, fighter jets.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Kyiv’s allies Wednesday regarding the sending of tanks, but said he had asked NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for more assistance.
“We have to unlock the supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine, it is important for us to expand our cooperation in artillery, we have to achieve the supply of aircraft to Ukraine. And this is a dream. And this is a task,” he said in his nightly address.
Ukraine has made no secret of the fact that it would like to receive fighter jets — such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a multirole fighter aircraft developed for the U.S. Air Force — from its allies to help it fight Russia.”

‼️Officially.
The Azov MTR Regiment is now the Third Separate Assault Brigade as part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Our combat path begins from the most difficult direction - on Bakhmut.
The decisive battle in this war is yet to come. She needs a new dimension.
Therefore, the military command places a new responsibility on us.
This means that Russian chmobiks, convicts, Wagners, Solovyovs and military commissars will have something to compose fables and legends about. We are preparing many surprises for them.
Winter will be hot.

There were reports that Abrams for Ukraine wouldn’t come from US inventories. But from the ‘manufacturer’. Whatever that means.

It means that there will be no Abrams for Ukraine as the line is tied up now with other orders like the many hundred for Poland.
Poland may donate Abrams to Ukraine before the US does.
“Britain wants Challenger tanks in Ukraine by end of March, minister says”
No timeline. Leopards will be in Ukraine way ahead of Abrams. Maybe by years...
“National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the Pentagon’s upcoming training for Ukrainians using the M1A1 Abrams tanks will take place outside of Ukraine.
Kirby said the U.S. has not yet decided on a specific location or timing for the training.
He also said that the Pentagon does not have extra tanks to pull from its current arsenal to provide for Ukraine.
“We just don’t have them,” Kirby said, adding that “even if there were excess tanks it would still take many months anyway.” He also declined to provide a timeline of when the M1A1 Abrams tanks would be ready for Ukrainian forces.”
